  1. Widest legal rim is largest factory rim width plus 1 inch. You can go as large in diameter as you want, as long as the overall diameter of the wheel and tyre doesnt change by 15mm or something, cant remember exactly. Look it up on the vicroads website
  2. 4 week wait? More like 2-3 months... and the 15 year rule is pretty much over, hardly anyone has any import appovals anymore. and IMHO noone has RAWS approval for r32s.
  3. Well, got that info a day or two late didnt we... In HPI they picked up 22kW just changing to 10% ethanol fuel, with revised tuning of course. As long as this extreme petrol is the same price (or within 1c) as optimax/ultimate/any other 98 octane petrol, ill use it.
  4. Octane booster makes the plugs turn into some type of chicken? Foul i think. For $20 a fornight, you would more than half way to having a power FC in a year.
  5. Nice one Dark, don't know what is sexier, the Watanabe rims or the walrus' magnificent breasts!
  6. I think there is a group buy for DBA rotors going on at the mo...
  7. So what are the blue bars? Ive got 0% warnings but 5 blue bars.
  8. What do the blue warning block do anyway? I dont think Ive ever got a warning, and i've got 5 blocks! Or does it show the amount of authority you have to warn other people?
  9. just posting so i can see it...
  10. mmmm.... makes me want to get a proper job
  11. Yeah but you can drive a series 2 r32 gtst (92-93 models)
  12. But you havent tuned the AVCR with the Tial wastegate? I am pretty sure it will have to be retuned to suit the differences between the wastegates.
  13. Air fuel ratio meter (even expensive wide band ones) are not very accurate, can even be out as much as a whole ratio. So tuners usually stay on the safe side of 12.5:1
  14. Im going to have a stab.. Sounds like your wastegate is opening when the max boost is reached and then staying open? Have you re tuned the avcr since you changed wastegates? Maybe do that. Or maybe they have plumbed it up wrong?
  15. Mine is a type-m , it has the big brakes, climate control and thats it... no side skirts, abs or aero kit. Get the vin no and do a search for FAST on the forums, post in the FAST thread and they can look your car up for you and find out all sorts of cool stuff...if you ask nicely.
  16. Yeah I still think 2 afms is the onlyoption worth considering. Remember, even with using the one 90mm AFM, the biggest restriction with the Y-setup is going to be in the Y where the 2 flows hits each other - heaps of turbulence (not good).
  17. Did you block off the hole where the stock recirculating BOV vents back into the intake? The amto bov should make no difference at all until you back off the throttle...
  18. Isnt it meant to be fitted in that way? i dont know anything about AVCRs, but thats how that Jaycar IEBC is installed.
  19. But i will give you a hand - the only thing that they all seem to have in common is the bigger brakes. All other extra bits and pieces are just options, and should not be used to tell if a car is a type-m or not. The only way to know for certain is to put the VIN into FAST (can get someone to do this on the forum here)
  20. How about r32 gtst guides. hint hint. Also, if i draw one up on autocad or whatever, can you make it for me for a decent price?
  21. 15 year rule is now only for cars made in 1988 or earlier, and will stay that way until 2018
  22. Daiken/Exedy Heavy duty clutch - ive got one and it works great. I think the parts no is NSK7056HD Should easily be able to get one and get it put in with the flywheel machined for less than $700
  23. They should just import the damn Chaser...
  24. Get them from any old fluid transfer solution place - maybe Pirtek?
  25. R134a still harms the ozone layer... just about 1000 times less than R12
