  1. Is it complianced? Thats what i would be asking. And Im sure you could get a 1993 NA R33 imported, complied and on the road for less than that, they are basically worth nothing in Japan.
  2. Received my knob on friday, looks great. Was a bit disappointed that it didnt fit straight on (it seems Nismo made the inner diameter of the plastic insert just too large) I guess ill have to do some modding.
  3. I was going to get a modded r32 from a guy in sydney and bring it down here, but the thing that turned me off was the fact that even if he got a pink/blue/red/etc slip for it up there, i would still have to unregister it and then re-register it in Vic, going through the hassle of trying to get a RWC.
  4. Thanks man, will keep it in mind.
  5. What is a ton? We dont have them in Australia, we only have tonnes. :-)
  6. There x100 mm mercury. Do a search for a free convert program on the internet and you will never need to ask how to convert anything ever again! :-)
  7. There is a thread going around about it, not sure where, do a search. Also, if you look closely, you can see my white r32 gtst in 4 photos in the mag, and see me wearing my black t-shirt with white writing on it standing in the background on the peir.
  8. Thanks, i was thinking real cheap of ebay, dont really care if it doesnt last too long if its under $150 bucks. Thinking of maybe this one: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...5792487585&rd=1 Im off to Aspen i think working for 4 months, mainly thinking of using it on flights/trains/busses etc, also maybe when snowboarding etc. I know i probably wont use it as much as i think, but i think ill go crazy if i have to spend 4 months without listening to the music i like.
  9. What's an MSY, will it make my car make that cool BOV flutter that sik VLs make? On a more serious note, im after a cheap 1GB Mp3 player, needs to be small and be able to be recharged NOT using USB (going overseas and wont have a computer). Any suggestions?
  10. Is SKYGRL taken or is it SKYGAL that i keep seeing around? How about a non-sex orientated one? Id like to get THE 032 when the standard plates come around to started with T, which is soon i think, if not already.
  11. Pretty sure this is the same as my car, or it might be 17x8 +25 and 17x9 +38? Its been a while since ive looked. But they do look great and fit perfectly, the rears look tough as without being stupid. And 9" wide is the widest you can put on by law in Vic anyway.
  12. Dont forget insurance, it might be worth looking at www.justcars.com.au and doing a quote. I think you'll will find you will still be up for $2000 a year, even though its non-turbo. PS i'm from Mt Martha, which school did/do you go to?
  13. The issue of speed is also the issue with the story on the SAU-Vic Great ocean road cruise in it, so go but it! Also apparently it will be the last issue of Speed magazine ever?
  14. Standard on all r32-r34s. I fold mine in most of the time.
  15. The clutch kit that your selling is not NSK7056HD am I correct? As the Pressure plate isnt a Exedy item, rather it is from RPM?
  16. Hey if you have already sent emails out you must have missed me. Thanks, Rhett
  17. Most applications will not use the big resistor. You dont install it on the circuit board anyway. CAnt remember where its used, ill look in the book tommorrow.
  18. There are recessed holes for the nuts to sit in, the studs from the car hub will probably not stick out. If so, you may have to cut the stubs on your hub? Solution ... buy the correct offset wheels?
  19. Nah, just machining is fine, usless its already been machined a lot. I just got a Exedy HD clutch put in 2 weeks ago, feels great, easy to drive and will hold a fair bit of power, Part No NSK7056HD
  20. Maybe contact BATMBL on these forums to see if he has any plans of making them for the R34? Would probably be the cheapest way of going about it if you are willing to wait.
  21. No i meant that from the factory the roof panel for the r32s would probably be manufactured exactly the same, then the hole would be cut out for the cars that were to get sunroofs. So perhaps the non-sunroofed cars would have the necessary mounting holes, but just need the actual hole to be cut
  22. There is a fair bit of info around on the forums about this. Do a search. But in summary, a split pipe is heaps better, well worth the extra money. See BATMBL's thread in the for sale section, has dyno graphs etc. He may be a bit biased (as he sells them), but it looks like there are significant gains in split vs just 3 inch dump pipes, possibly even 10kW or so.
  23. Does anyone know if r32 gtst's without a sunroof have the necessary mounting holes in the roof for a sunroof? I really wanted a car with a sunroof but there were no good ones around when i was in the buying mood, it would be great if i could easily fit a second hand one.
  24. Im prett sure you would want to do it this way, or else your not passing the air from the second cam cover through the catch can/oil-air separator at all. So youve paid for a catch can and its only doing half the job.
  25. Hey my car made it into 4 of the photos!(p16, 72, 73 and 74) (albeit very small in 2 of them) And you can see me standing at the pier behind the cars wearing my black t-shirt. It was a great move driving 3 car ahead of the camera car all the way down the GOR. Maybe this is my 15 seconds of fame... I think Robin's car also made it to page 145 aswell.
