All the BF gauges are electrical as far as i know, including the boost gauge. And you definately need the control unit 2 to run the gauges at all. The unit can run up to 6 off it i think?

If you dont mind buying on the internet, the cheapest place i have found is Perfect Run at about $385 including the control unit 2. Also xspeed have just the gauge for $218 +10% GST, there located in WA, but have an online catalogue.

Ok ive got a r32 so the batts under the bonnet. You can get the fuses and rcas from anywhere as i mentioned. Most people are at work at the moment, including me. Come along to a cruise or meet and im sure there will be heaps of people willing to give you a few pointers. Rhett

Answer to question A: You can get fuses and RCA's for car audio stuff from JB hifi or any other car stereo place. The best thing to do (and the easiest) is just buy one of the wiring kits. They come with power lead, fuse, fuse holder, earth wire, terminals etc. I havent had any experience with audio stuff in skylines though so cant help you out there. Just give it a shot, you cant really stuff it up, just make sure the power cables and the RCAs go down opposite sides of the car.

Did the radio pick up stations when you test drove it? During compliance they fit a fm band expander thing so you can pick up aussie stations. They may have stuffed up the installation of this, take the stereo out and have a look. It will look like a box that is plugged in between the aerial and the head unit.

You would be more likely to sell the SAFC if instead of just bumping your thread you answered the questions people were asking you. Does it come with the box and the stand?

Do you have the s14 radiator or the rb20? Is it possible that the s14 radiator (if its still there) is smaller than the rb one therefore causing it to overheat?

You cannot buy R32 gtst Power FC's for anywhere near $1200 new, let alone second hand. If i had the money i'd buy it off you aybee. Dont drop your price, someone out there will be willing to pay for it, it might just take time.

Are they from R32 or R33/S15?

Ive "might" have a 2 point immobiliser and alarm, and a seperate 1 point keypad immobiliser. Just cars said this counted for a 3 point immobiliser. Its a cheaper and easier to find option than 3 point, i think brant is one of the only companies that make 3 point immobilisers.

Ive seen 2 r32 gtst with genuine gtr front bars that fit pretty well with no modification. They over hang into the wheel arches about 1cm maybe. The main benefit of getting a genuine gtr front bar is that they are plastic, not fibreglass, and therefore much stronger and resistance to smashing.
