  1. Ive got this speed meter as well, but ive never seen a manual for it. P-O is the menu where you have to select the pulse width of the speed sensor i think? If you press the pulse button, you can cycle through the different pulse width settings. Im pretty sure the correct p value is 6? If it isnt, you will just get a speed reading which is out by some factor. Then just press the speed button once to display your speed, or twice to display top speed i think. To do a 0-400m run, you need to be stopped and press the 0-400m button twice. Then just drive and it will beep when 400m is up and show you the ET. press 0-400m button again to see your terminal speed. Ive never pressed the trip button, may as well just use the odometer in the dash. If you cant get any buttons to work, maybe take it apart and see if the wiring is still connected on the inside. Mine never used to show the third number in the speed (eg the 1 in 100) until i went in and played with the connections a bit. Hope this helps, Rhett
  2. There must be alot of homeless vic people roaming the forums right about now...
  3. Yeah DBA4909 is the correct rotors for R32 GTST. They also have DBA909, which are cheaper etc, but not as sporty/cool
  4. GTR front bars still fit fine, i have seen a few cars that have this done (yes, genuine GTR front bars). I very much doubt that they are a full 14cm wider, although you could be right, ive never seen 2 together off a car to compare.
  5. Yeah id be interested. more info might be useful to those of us who havent been to a dyno day there yet, eg. where it is, times etc.
  6. I met a guy at the SAU vic member sign up bbq a few months back who had set up a switch on his gts4 that let him switch from 4wd to 2wd and back. I asked him about it not resetting etc and he said that his works perfectly - it switches back and forward fine.
  7. Hey i think they should change it to what we have here in victoria - a limit of 125kW/tonne whilst on you p's ( in victoria this is usually for 3 years from age 18 to 21) I think it is reasonable. Every one else can disagree with me, but i probably will never check this thread again so i dont really care.
  8. If you want to look more into what a SAFC does/ doesnt do etc, im pretty sure the american apexi website has pdfs of all the manuals on it available for download. Good for a read
  9. Condolences. This is probably the 1 area that i think the victorian police are right about. In victoria we have a 125kW/tonne power restriction whilst on your P's (first 3 years of your licence). You do enough stupid things when you have just started driving, you dont need the added danger of having a super powerful car. And you can still have a lot of fun in a car under that limit.
  10. On saturday in Melbourne i went to 4 Shell petrol stations, none of them had optimax available until the 24/11/04. Couldnt find a BP, so had to put 91RON petrol in the car as the petrol light had been on for a while. Chucked in a bit of octane booster, drove around carefully but was still worried. Managed to finally find a BP and some good old 98RON Ultimate. Pain in the arse.

  12. Link doesnt work anymore, so i guess by default i got the maximum score.
  13. I have rb74's on the front with standard rotors and i have white wheels. Well i used to have white wheels:
  14. Yeah i havent had any action for a while either, getting a bit toey. Oh thats not what you meant.
  15. Thanks you guys for making me feel younger than i am. Ive been through a few favourite styles of music in the last 5 or so years: 1999 - Hardcore punk and metal stuff - Mindsnare, Embodiment 12:14 2000 - Commercial dance shit 2001 - Tech - Wetmusik etc 2002 - Psytrance - Infected Mushroom etc 2003 - Drum and Bass Shapeshifter, anthing with a MC Now - Hip Hop - Bias B, obese crew etc None of that shit eminem/fity cent/five cent/USA crap that you hear on radio I cant make up what music i like, as long as it has a bit of an edge on it, i usually think its ok.
  16. Damn, thats not ur r32 that you bought last year with the sunroof and the enkei wheels? I was going to buy that car, but you beat me to it. Sorry for ur loss.
  17. You might find that a cooler like that would have a higher pressure drop than a conventional design because the air has to change direction within the cooler, rather than in a smooth return pipe.
  18. Hey you also have the same speed meter as me tucked away in the hole in the dash. Its a full mid nineties "Ultra" speed meter. It does 0-400m, trip computer, speed, top speed etc. Never been able to find a manual for it though. Ive got the matching ultra turbo timer too.
  19. Mmm Bride seats, but no recliners... damn. Wish i had $1.5k sitting around for a new seat.
  20. Looks awesome, i like the grill, looks good and probably 1/4 the price of a gtr one. Also, from the engine bay pic it looks like it has a remote oil filter kit, which is handy coz its a bitch to get to it in the normal place. And youve got a strut brace, dont forget that. Itll clean up good.
  21. For the boost gauge question, i cant help with pics either, and my car is an r32 but id say that r33 will be the same- The stock boost gauge takes it reading from the inlet manifold at the rear of the engine. There is a rubber hose that goes from the manifold to a little plastic box right in the top left hand side of the engine bay. Its not very hard to find, its the only hose that goes there.
  22. You not meant to tighten the oil filter as tight as you can, just so its firm. The rubber gasket might break if you do.
  23. Cars built from june 92 onwards could be imported through the old scheme, and will be able to be imported through the new scheme, if anyone gets approval for them. Pre 91 cars have blue dials, post have grey dials. My 92 type M still has the stock tape player. All turbo skylines R32 onwards have 5 stud wheels. Not all type M's have the bodykit, it was a factory option.
  24. Im interested in this front bar too.... well isnt everybody, its awesome.
