  1. X-speed in Perth used to have the Do luck front bar for R32 gtst's on their website.
  2. Do you have an atmo-venting BOV? Its probably not that but its an easy source of a similar stalling problem to eliminate.
  3. Wow this thread is still going from before I bought my R32 GTSt. And that was almost 5 years ago now!!! I paid $16.5k back then for the absolutely cleanest one I could find, probably looked at over 15 or so before seeing this one. Now its 5 years later, 100,000kms more and its still going strong. Never had a problem. But I guess now with 175000kms on it and being 15 years old I'd expect to be able to sell it for about $11k. I'd think it would sell pretty quickly for around $10k. I wouldn't think anyone would pay over $15k for an R32 gtst now, not when for a few grand more (say $20k) you would score a decent R32 GTR.
  4. Well i think you will probably have trouble fitting 9.5" rims on the front. My 32 has 17x8 +25 on the front and 17x9 +35 on the back, and they really only just fit. R33's have a bit more room apparently though.
  5. +1 Racebrakes Rb74 pads About $150 for the fronts. Dusty as, but nothing looks as street-racer as having a spotless clean car and dirty as front wheels. (especially with white rims like mine). I have found they work well.
  6. Selling the Stag Simon? If you remember I bought your smic off you for my R32. Got an extra 10kw from it. But I'm also looking for a stagea now, will be importing however as Im after a specific car, late model RS4-S manual. Good luck with the sale.
  7. So what did you actually get changed? Some really rough prices are: Timing belt - $200 Water pump - $150 Brake pads - $200 Fluids - $100 Spark plugs - $120 for platniums or whatever Fuel/oil/air filters $100 Did you get the brake discs machined or replaced? machining - $100, replacement $500 So thats about a grand at least, without any labour... It cost me about $500 to get my timing belt changed and new filters/fluids. No water pump, no brakes or anything.
  8. They are in Armadale, 3143
  9. Ahh turbo timers are illegal as well, anything that lets the car run without the keys in the ignition isn't legal.
  10. There are lots that feature R34 GT-T's. If you are really keen I can count them all for you. But you would have to come pick them up, it would be economical to post them. Do you want all of the ones that feature R34 GT-t's?
  11. Bump again $180 for both or make me an offer for the amp or sub individually.
  12. OK all of them for $80. Make me an offer, a few years worth of reading here. A great reference for anyone who wants to build up a library of car magazines etc.
  13. I will be voting for Rudd. I can't see why people keep saying that Howard has been running the economy well when the world economy is so strong at the moment. Interest rates have increased 5 times in the near past, housing affordability is so low now that most people will never be able to pay off a house within their own lifetimes. Howard is an absolute liar who would sell his own mother to win the next election. The lied about Tampa (of course he knew what was going on) and he lied about Workchoices. He knows he is heading towards an election loss, so he has pulled out the Sudanese Refugee debacle, almost said sorry but won't, next week I'm sure there will be another terrorist scare the way it is going. Howard has no idea about the environment or climate change, it is too important to not ratify Kyoto just because we will be slightly economically disadvantaged. (Which i highly doubt we will) And Workchoices and AWA's are an absolute joke. Its fair enough for the majority of people with a university education who are on individual contracts to say they are a good thing, but what about all those millions of people out there who have no other option? What about your kids when they go for their first jobs? At my old job at a pub I was offered a place in a Certificate 3 in hospitality. the only catch was that I would have to sign an AWA which meant I no longer got any overtime or shift loadings. But because I was getting the course paid for (about $500 a year) it passed the fairness test. But make up your own minds. Or just trust the worm's judgement, which those bastards in the "liberal" party tried to pull the plug of on Sunday night.
  14. Sorry mate but you absolutely need either a dyno or a wideband AFR meter to tune a SAFC correctly. And most people who have SAFC's have neither of these.
  15. This may be a stupid question but where are you taking your boost reading from? If it is from the inlet plenum (standard location) it could be possible that the turbo is running at 19psi, and you simply have a few psi pressure drop across your intercooler, piping etc?
  16. Had my r32 for almost 5 years now, have done over 100,000kms, have only been pulled over once. for speeding, and was let off anyway. No problem unless you are on P plates or are a moron.
  17. That is awesome. But you didnt leave any money over for a t-shirt...
  18. Bump... there are 63 of the HPI magazines left. Really cant be bothered with sending lots of individual mags around, as its not time or cost effective (just cost me $9 to post 3 magazines within melbourne!) So if anyone wants the whole lot, you can have ALL my car mags for $100, including the Option 2 mag. Pickup only Cheers
  19. So I take it the Omori ones are sold?
  20. This is my favourite quote from their website: The ECU will need time to re-learn (about a week) this is why dyno shops who test products by doing one run without, and one run with any product don't know how to use a dyno on an EFI car. So basically they are saying everytime you do back to back dyno tests you are wrong, and thats why no one has proof their product actually works. Utter BS
  21. Yeah i have RACV membership, have had it for 7 years or so. Ive used it twice. First time i ran out of fuel (didnt realise my r31 didnt have a low fuel warning light). Waited an hour and they still hadnt shown up, so by that time my dad had come and dropped off some fuel. Second time my car wouldnt start outside my house, nothing to do with a flat battery (Already tried jumping it) They took about 2 hours to get there, then claimed they had sent 2 cars in the meantime and neither had seen me. (even though i had told them it was right outside my house in the driveway and therefore i would be sitting inside and for them to phone me on either my home phone or mobile when they got there) So not very impressed... I mainly keep it going because i like seeing the years as a member on the little keyring thing go up. stupid hey.
  22. My Just Cars premium went up by $90 last month. I rang them and they said there was nothing they could do about the increase, stating that it was based on their opinion of the risk of the car, and the amount of claims they have had over the last year for cars of the same type as mine (R32 gtst). I complained and they increased my agreed value back to what it was last year, but the premium couldnt be reduced. shannons couldnt meet the price.
