  1. Do unique insure under 25's for turbos?
  2. If you wanted to get a tracking device, get Navtrack or Turbotrak (by BRANT) instead of Quiktrak. THey use GPS so work almost everywhere, whereas Quiktrak uses radio so only work in a certain range. I'm also looking at security options for when i get my R32, im hoping a decrease in insurance premium will make tracking worthwhile.
  3. Ive seen a few 89-92 car around, but they all must have been private imports (as in they were brought over by people who lived in Japan).
  4. Try famous classic car insurance. They'll match any quote (apparently). Just do a search on them, or go to www.famousinsurance.com
  5. Hey $2500 for a skyline is not too bad. Ive got a friend who 'inherited' a 2000 Mazda 323, just to be stuck with an insurance premium of $2500! For a 21 year old chick! Does anyone know where to get more info on NAV track? How much does it cost for monitoring? If i was getting a tracking device i wouldnt get Quiktrak as it only has a limited range, unlike turbotrack and (i think) NAvtrack - they work anywhere as they use GPS.
  6. Yeah thanks for the info. Willb sure to test drive one before i buy, im only about 5'10 so should b ok.
  7. ANyway, how do u become a paying member of SAU? Or is that not happening yet?
  8. Im looking at getting an R32 GTSt with a sunroof, but have never seen one in person (with a sunroof i mean). Is the sunroof glass or solid, does it have a pull over curtain thing? Is it electric, operated by a switch? Are the sunroofs the tilt and slide ones, or do they just go back into the roof? And finally, have many people had problems with them leaking, ive heard that the seals are ridiculously $$$. Thanks
  9. If they insure in Vic id be very interested when i get my knew car. If they can get it under just cars quote ($2300) for a $15000 R32 GTST, for me (20, 30% or 40% no claims i think, no fines, no accidents) im in for sure.
  10. My condolences go out to frooends and family of the guys that were involved in the smash at MT. Martha. I live just down the road from the accident in MT Martha and drive down that rd at least twice a day. Very dangerous, lots of bends and hills. In the wet even going at 60 (the speed limit) is sketchy if u dont know the road well. Thanks also go out to the locals who got the other 2 guys out of the car before it exploded. Absolute heros.
