Lithium, you are right in some ways, I know the gtst is 100 k lighter, and if you have an RB30 in it, has to be iqually matched with a strong gearbox, so u'd have to dish out the standard gearbox on the gtst, and go for some heavy duty box and that means its going to be heavier, Supra comes with a standard Getrag gearbox, what a freebie hey. Mind you my R33 GTR was heavier than my supra, the auto supra is 1500 kilos, the manual soops is 1400 kilos. And obviously the GTR is going to be quicker 0-100, but after that its all about the Soops.

krzysiu, Get your facts right mate, HPI also did a comparo between the two cars, mind you the GTR had an exhaust system, the supra stock as, Gtr 13.5 in the quarter, Supra 13.7, so I believe what I read from an article/comparo done on the two cars stock (mind you the GTR had the exhaust system), and who now days drives a stock car anyway.

Hi man, I had an R33 GTR, and upgraded to supra as I was spending to much on the GTR (gear box almost dead), supra has the works, line them both up at eastern creeck modded to the max without touching the internal on none of the cars, I can asure u that the supra would win providing u running a good set of comp t/a's. Supra comes with standard Getrag gear box, and what can we say about the engine. U have alot of potential on the soops.

Yes I think the pass was on BFgoodrich Comp t/a, pretty sure.

Hi guys, I read an article on on Fast fours, the article came out may 2004, but this supra made 7.7 @ 176mph and they're expecting 7.2 pass. There are lot of supras making that time ljstt mentioned in the US (msp supra 8.3 @168mph no nos, Titan supra 8.7 @169 mph Street tyre, mvp unibody supra 8.8 @167mph).

hey meshmesh, you forgot ot mention that from 0-60 MPH in 4 secs, this car is farken awsome and its coming out in Germany in December soon after in the US prices sre expected to be 150-170K US.

First of all the Supra intercooler is good for well over250rwkw, even the GTR intrcooler has to be removed when pushing more power, and as for engines the 2JZ GTE was definately made to be abused check this out Can a GTR do as good as this on stock internals/OEM I'd like to see just one pushing this much power. http://www.to4r.com/to4r.html to me it seems that the Supra is more of a drag car, GTR a circuit car but it can be transformed into a drag car if you are willing to spend a lot of money into the engine, gear box......... And as for breaks they are bigger on the late 94.

I agree with you Michael I have swaped my R33 GTR for a TT Supra just two months ago, definately better than the GTR (in my point of view, stronger over all), I am really impressed with the supra, and people who talk here without knowing, you really have no Idea until you sit on them both and thrash them both like i did. And people who think their gtst can keep up with a tt supra you are dreaming. People on this forum don't seem to like the Supra, maybe cos they know inside that the Supra is a better car. I admit it after owing the two cars.

Hi guys, I've seen plenty of supras making more power than gtrs with stock internals, they are doing 9s (street tyre) in the US the record is 950rwhp on stock internals, there are countless making 700 to 800hp, I've never heard of a GTR doing this on stock internals or not even near so come back down to earth NISMO 400 R N1, In my point of view the supra has the upper hand as you can do much more to it with less money. Its not hard to see that the market has a wider range for the Skyline/ GTR within Australia as.

YES i'VE SEEN THAT VIDEO AS WELL BUT NO THE CARS DONT SEEM TO BE STANDARD, LOOK AT THE TIME UNDERNEATH ON THE LEFT HAND CORNER, (YOU TALKING ABOUT THE WHITE gtr AND THE SILVER supra) THEY ARE NOT STANDARD, IF MY 33 WOULD LAUNCH LIKE THAT STANDARD IT WOULD BE COOL, BUT I HAVE TO LOOK AFTER THE GEAR BOX SO I CAN SELL IT.

Hi, You definately have no idea what you are talking about, I own an R33 GTR I have occassionally raced my friend's tt Supra and he whoops my arse, Im infront 1st 2nd , after that he eats me, I also know another guy making 410 rwkw making 10.9 secs on stock internals, and yes the GTR can make 11.90 secs on stock internals but not reliably, I have already broken two boxes, yes Im with you on that one man, as soon as I have 47k I'll pick up one Supra and go crazy on mods and not worry about my box... good luck.

In my experience supras are a very good car, and that might probably be my next car after I get sick of the GTR, as I'll be able to have shit load of power without spending so much money on the engine, and gear box.

MRK you are very wrong in your post, this is to correct you, the GTR R34 13.7 in a quarter, the R33 GTR is close to this to and the supra is 13.7 same as the R34 GTR, so please beaware before you post . ElGTR
