Hey Guys.. Well i've been here for a while now, and im starting to get ideas (dangerous ones). I'm thinking about buying and then bringing a car home.. Its really at an initial (if not premature) stage, but im interested in know whats involved. First things like where to buy (auctions/yards/etc?) and then owning, and finally the most difficult part, bringing it home. Can anyone add some insight to this? Any and all information is welcome! And im looking for a rotor, preferably series 6 or higher. Thanks! Pete

Yo Rezz, another question... If some one asked for my address (aka my parents) to send me some stuff (a package).. Will this do? Rezz, i got a question.. At the mo i got a few jobs working in/around tokyo, but im on a working holiday visa. Now i understand this is valid for a maximum of 1 year and a half? If i wanted to stay longer would this A) Be possible? B) How? Im lead to believe that if you want to stay in Japan under a Working Visa, you need proof of a degree. Is this right? If i wanted to stay here in Nippon, without a degree (im just 19 going on 20 this year) could i smooze up to my boss and lick a lot of ass and try and get a working visa that way? Or should i start looking for a girl who wants to marry soon? Thx

actually just on this.. Im on a working holiday visa.. If my friend comes to visit me and has a JR pass, say she only stays for a few days, but buys a week long pass, could i get away with using it? do they check names and stuff when you use it?

Gday guys.. This is a question for the guys that have been here a bit longer than most of us (in japan that is).. Im after a japanese numberplate for my car back home in brissy.. is it possible to get one from somewhere for next to nothing like a wrecker or somewhere.. or have one made up? or is it better to just find a car thats been dumped (there seem to be a few out this way..) and borrow its plate? How hard is it to get tickets for this press day? I think i read somewhere that after 12 or 1 o'clock it will be open to other people, ie. normal non press people? Is lawson the stop for tickets for this day? Sorry bout my newbieness :Oops:
