  9. Here we go again! Another Golden Week has come and (almost) gone here in Japan, and that can only mean 1 thing. Its Spring! So to celebrate this little change of weather and to take advantage of the public holidays associated with Golden week a Spring Drift festival had to be held. And boy was it held, in the name of a 2 day drift party! The venue again was Ebisu Circuit, about 3 hours from Tokyo, but for many others quite a bit further! And did they come. Some honourable mentions were a few of the boys from Kansai (including Laurence) with a monster 21 hour drive?! Others from around Japan came too to join in in the fun! Being a 2 day event there was a lot of drifting, a lot of broken/smashed/bent panels/parts and to top it of there was also a BBQ of decent proportions too (^_^). A great way to kick start the warm months here in Japan, and i'm already looking forward to the summer festival! Anyway, onto the pics! Saw this Serena?.. van on the way up there.. Interesting The Entry to Ebisu Circuit. Yes theres also a safari park on the same site. Let the drifting begin! A lot of these pics were taken at the Kita (North) Course Clean S14 More S14 Action 180 Powah! Teaming Up! My Team Mate Keita going for a slide FAMILY DRIFT!! Team up again Van Drift!! I'm sorry... I did it again Aussie Drift! Pig Shooter? Drift Pig..? I'm confused.. No more buffing out..

  11. Akabane is a station on the Keihin Tohoku line... But i think he means Ikebana. Aka. a type of flower arrangement.
  12. Just as the topic states.. If you could send one thing back from Japan, what would it be? And why? Myself, i'd send a big Domo-kun soft doll and slap him in the back seat of the car (^_^) Or a set of Defi BF guages... Hmmmmmm.. Gets me thinking. Anyone else?
  13. I don't wanna speak to soon, but yes same here. Can converse quite well now and still do what i want! But my time is coming...

  15. Thanks for the replys guys.. You've got me all excited looking for rims now! haha... N15MO, you mentioned TE37/LMgt4's.. How about enkei RPF1's?.. any other idea about what wheels have a 'big' clearance?
  16. Hey everyone.. I've been in Japan now for some time but recently have gotten my hands on some big callipers for my soarer. Now yes i realise the stupidity of asking on a Skyline forum, but it seems most people on here are a little more level headed than say boostcruising so bear with me for second. The problem - I have JZA80 Supra 4 pot calipers + discs sitting here on my floor in Tokyo. These are quite sizey (but a straight bolt on for soarers), but i have a strange feeling they won't fit over my wheels back home on my Soarer (in Brissy). So at the moment i'm looking for some cheapish volks here in Japan (just 2) with maybe the right offset to send over, but im not sure if this will be successful. So.. what are some legal ways to clear big callipers? Will i have to have them Engineer approved? Are spacers something i could look into? or does that void my Insurance? Any other options? Any help would be great! Thanks.
