As a first timer (to automesse) from Tokyo it was a nice change from the continuingly worsening Autosalon up here.

Hey there everyone Here are some pics from Osaka Autosalon. It quite a nice event held from February 10th to 12th. Very similar to Autosalon in setup and cars it gives a chance for companies/people who don't want/can't to travel all the way upto Tokyo from Kyushu and other southern areas to display their cars and products. Quite a good show overall, and i must say i did leave behind some money at Junction Produce again.. Anyway! Lets let the pics do the talking and I must give a big thank you to Keita (my Map Man!!!) for letting me tag along with him! Wouldn't be the same without you! And if it was directly related to her drink driving then it bloody well should get maximum press. Speeding is one thing.. Drink driving and clocking 180+ in a 60 zone is just f**king stupid. And who gets shafted here? Not the driver.. the poor bloody passenger. I say throw the book at her.

i'm not too clear on the details but i do know Zenitani built some tough KPGC's in the past few years... I believe they have a website (it was posted on here before im sure) so do a search and something might come up. Other than that, the already mentioned auctions is another good source..

Have you checked yahoo auctions or some of the shops listed in the links on the main 'japan forum' page..? ....

Hey Guys.... Here are some pics from this years auto-salon here in Tokyo. This year as always it was held in Makuhari Messe, about 30 minutes from the centre of tokyo by train. The show is always an event to look forward to in the motorsports calendar, but for some reason (maybe this being the 3rd time straight going) this years show just didn't seem to hit the spot. Some big makers like Veilside weren't there and a lot of cars that were there last year made their appearance again with very few, if any changes. Of course this show still is better than anything we've got in Australia, but hopefully next time this show will be a litte bit more better. Either way as always its always fun and a great day, so i hope you enjoy the pics and leave a comment! I must agree... Auto-Salon is always a good show (in Japan) but for the past three years that ive gone, i have to say there seems to be a trend of it going down each time. This year (and last) companies like Veilside didn't show.. A lot of companies who were there last year also didn't come this year and a lot of those who came last year put the same cars up on display.. It's a little disappointing to say none the less, but Auto-salon will always be auto-salon. I hope that some of the big makers start to release some good sports cars in the future, otherwise the Salon will continue to get less and less interesting.. I have more to say, but i'll say it when i post my own pics up later today or tomorrow.. Peter
