  1. Just as the topic says, i paid a visit to USS auctions out in Saitama (North of Tokyo). Getting there was quite a feat in it self as i don't have a car in Japan, but it was well worth it. From central Tokyo the ride is roughly an hour or hour and a half and does require some changing of trains, but as the pics show, its definitely a sight to see! I have to thank my mate Ibrahim for getting me out there as you're not allowed in unless you have a buyers pass I.D. or you're with someone who has one. So enough talk and let the pics do the talking! Peter We begin, and straight into the foreign big boys... On display in this little section were about 5/6 ferraris, a brand new V12 Benz and a Bentley Coupe... Down from there we find a few Low Lows.. Another.. And this beautiful little TVR.. (as seen in Gran Turismo) Following on from there a beautifully "Japanified" Porsche.. And a nice double team.. Another nice pair.. Think i might go the old one... This thing was on some serious roids when younger too.. Old school represent! Tasty GTR... I think its down the back somewhere... My pick... And what not to do to a maserati... Anyway... i hope that didn't kill all your connections.. (Hikari fibre r0x0rs) But if you want more.. and theres still quite a few pics... check out my page here....

    My Cars 90% Done

Rezz, that's looking hot mate! Pity about the bonnet though.. Not bad for a 6man yen ride. Also good luck on your trip back. If you ever get up to tokyo, pop in for a visit Pete

  9. It's got aftermarket alloy pipng or something to that effect. No offense Poida but it's a 'Nismo' bumper... that '=' is actually 二 (ni). About the hitherto untranslated bits of the auction sheet: Honto da Rezz... sumimasen deshta
  10. Im not the best at these auction sheets so don't ask me about other things but the things i can work out (or can be arsed to work out) are... Brembo Brakes.. EVC Boost Controller 17" Wheels... Some kind of headlights../something to do with headlights.. Something about an Intercooler Pipe... and a Sumo Bumper or something.. Dunno.. Thats all i can get.
  11. Akeenan, and everyone else is right... Japan is pretty cool, but to get the most out of it you need 'real' japanese friends. But they seem to be a little hard to come by, and of course they're all too busy with their silly hours here in Tokyo so it does become a bit of stuff around to arrange something, and don't forget the language barrier sometimes. But in saying that, if i had the chance to go back in time and change something, i probably wouldnt.. Definitely worth it!

    Jobs In Japan?

sounds all great blah blah blah but i hate to be the one to break it to you.. a lot of people i know here in Tokyo came and did the same thing as what you're planning to do.. Aka. Come to japan to be with girlfriends, work as english teachers, and try and get by... For some people it works, but also for a large number, the girls go back to living with their families, and returning to their previous state.. a lot of people on other forums (Gaijinpot.com for one) also speak of similar stories.. I won't go into here, but have a look at some forums before you take the big jump to see what others have to say.. Also, Can you speak any japanese? Can you read/write hiragana, katakana, kanji? If not.. id get cracking on learning some before you come.. Hate to be negative, but maybe its more the truth than anything else.
  19. Actually thats a big Pachinko parlour...

    Ac Adapter

Where do you live circus monkey? Just last week i had my PC repaired in Akihabar at the Toshiba Centre.. It was still under warranty so it was free, but they speak English there. Maybe you could pick up one from there.. Or you could just buy a cheapo radio or something with one of those Universal plugs and use that? Or just go to a travel shop or duty free and find some adaptors?
