Complete Gtr Hks Piping Kit
berzerkled replied to berzerkled's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Hehe no worries. I own www.jdmoc.com and have bought a Celsior from Ben & Craig over at JSpec and have spoke to them many times. Mr. FunkyMonkey can vogue for me as well. For shipping, I'm getting a quote of $120. It's a fairly large box since I've wrapped the pipes individually. My PayPal addy is [email protected] Any questions, just shoot me a PM. Thanks, Ryan -
Complete Gtr Hks Piping Kit

I wouldn't imagine that would be any problem, as long as the outlets are the same size. They'll all line up perfectly, the guy I bought it from had it in his GTR and it's completly unmodified. I'm in Canada, can I get your postal code and I'll figure out shipping? -
Complete Gtr Hks Piping Kit
berzerkled replied to berzerkled's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I didn't install it, so I don't have a pic of it on my own car. I'm sure someone has the kit on here that you could take a look at. It replaces all pipes on the turbo side as well as intercooler piping on both sides. -
I had plans of installing this kit onto my GTR, but have never gotten around to it and there's no point hanging onto it. This is the complete HKS kit and includes everything in the photos below. It retails for $1400, I'm asking $700. I can also include 2 Green HKS filters for an extra $100. Any questions, just let me know.

R32 Gtr Gt2530s Dyno Results Lacking
berzerkled replied to berzerkled's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I'm on stock cams and cam gears. I know that will slow spool but it shouldn't be nearly this bad. I had another GTR last year and pulled nearly the same time as this one..which has the hks 2530s.. this doesn't add up. -
R32 Gtr Gt2530s Dyno Results Lacking
berzerkled replied to berzerkled's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Well something is definatly wrong.. I just did a 13.09 @ 105mph in the quarter mile, with a peak boost of 1.35 bar and everything appeared fine on my Apexi Commander. So my only 2 thoughts on what could be wrong: 1) The actuators are way off on the turbos for whatever reason and just need to be tightened? I don't know if the gt2530 actuators can even be tightened.. 2) Boost leak? Any ideas? -

Anyways, beyond gas differences. Anyone suggest any ideas as to what the problem could be? -

Thanks for the replys guys.. The 91 I was using is spot on to your 99. I don't have any sort or graph, but yeah full boost was very very slow. I'm thinking it's one of three things: 1) I have the PowerFC (PFC Boost Control Kit installed) set for 1.4 bar @ only 60% duty, should I bump up the % and lower the boost I'm asking for? 2) The actuators are way off on the turbos for whatever reason and just need to be tightened? I don't know if the gt2530 actuators can even be tightened.. 3) Boost leak? I really have no clue on this one, just throwing some ideas out there. Thanks again guys. -
Finally got all my parts in and took the car to the dyno and the results were less than I expected (although, isn't that always the case ). I was under the assumption that the HKS GT2530s would spool much much faster than they did and I was expecting around 450 whp. Let me know what you guys think.. A/F ratios: started off weak but were spot on after moving around the fuel map and we peaked injector duty at only 74%. Boost: we went up to 1.4 bar to play it safe on the GT2530s, and when it finally got to full boost, it held steady there moving around +/- .2 bar. Power Mods: 2 x HKS GT2530 Turbos 2 x 300zx MAFs Ogura Twin Plate Clutch Greddy Front Mount Intercooler Sard 722cc Fuel Injectors Sard 276lph Fuel Pump NGK Iridium Racing Spark Plugs Apexi PowerFC Stand Alone Engine Management Apexi PowerFC Boost Control Kit Apexi PowerFC Commander Greddy dual dump pipe /w decat Apexi exhaust damper control 5Zigen Exhaust Notes: Dyno sheet is in yankee hp not aussie . It was done on a RWD dyno with AWD fuse pulled, no AWD ones around here. Normal pump fuel was used the whole time. Not sure why it's showing the image as dead below, but it opens when you click it.

Common R32 Dashboard Bubble
berzerkled replied to r32line's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Both of my r32s have had this. What you can do is get a needle and fill it with glue, poke it through the center of the hole and push a bunch of glue in and hold it down until it dries. Haven't tried it but it should work only leaving a very small hole. -
I reckon a PFC would be fine for gauges. I just used it and the stock GTR ones and I was fine. For boost on the PFC you will have to have the Apexi Boost Controller that plugs into it, otherwise the PFC has no idea what you're boosting at.

Glad the speed is still decent that far away. Locally we get up to 800k/s.

*bump* -
So we just finished our Nissan/JDMOC.com meet and I start the car to leave. Immediatly I notice my 4WD light is on, weird. So I drive out of the lot, the back end goes way out. Then driving down the street and if I gave it a little too much gas the back end would get sideways. GTR with RWD is insane! That was enough for me, so I pulled over, turned off the car for a few seconds, turned it back on and the light was off now. Drove away like normal with FWD working. Figure that one out..
