  1. now you're talkingmy example is the VH45 engine ... and yes i have large cams but i'm only going to use them IF i need to effectively bleed off some compression for the mean time i can use the motec to switch vvt off (push inlet closing out 20 degrees LATER) once it reaches a certain boost level which will cause detonation ... its going to take some time to get it right but will be interesting none the less
  2. no methanol injection. no water injection. just fuel and air matemy point is ... static compression has SFA to do with how much boost you can run or how about one of the other cars ... 9.5:1 and 14psi ... and the only reason why it wasnt pushed to 20psi was because of factory valve springs being weak as piss
  3. not designed to run boost how?? because of higher compression? compression is your friend!! ok so should i be worried about my 10.2:1 compression and running 20-22psi on pump fuel? will my GT42RS decimate?you need to spend less time listening to people with no idea familiar with the term quench??

  9. How much is it costing to hi flow the RB25 injectors?? Obviously less than $800 What Microtech are you running also? Semi sequential fuel & spark LT8S?

  14. Great read mate!! C4 will break ... but i'm sure the auto guys have already told you that! They make too much torque!! Well this is what i was told when i went looking for a box for my VH45 I went for the 2 speed powerglide option. Full manualised valve body and transbrake. With a 3500 rpm stall (With 800 flywheel hp) Interesting you went the supercharger way ... i just didnt have the room for extractors and twin exhausts in my S12 so i was forced to go turbo (not that it was ever going to be a question anyway) Once again great read!! Whoever the goose is that said you'll regret the microtech ... obviously has NO IDEA ... i'm running one as well mate The only option if you want big power B) Well done!! Whats it like owning the only decent R33 in australia? (waits for the response :lol: )
