  1. if you were already there and it was off and everything you might as well hone it and clean it up a bit otherwise dont bother
  2. its not necessarily economical to do so , they are a large scale business and many production requirements to consider
  3. go for a larger car on lpg the jazz is not an ideal car to put a lot of ks on
  4. this is an eboost users dyno a few weeks back one of the flatest boost curves I have ever seen
  5. the 2 best possible ones to get would be the blitz sbcid3 (or i-colour , same boost control) or the eboost 2 the eboost is probably a bit better but both are pretty well flawless
  6. i would imagine an amount of fuel still combusts in the cylinder chamber but is uncontrolled , essentially detonation
  7. i am going to email her and ask for the contacts for her superior officers to make a complaint about her obvious complete lack of intelligence and competence it is offensive to all tax payers that she is on the public payroll
  8. you could bust some balls and get an evo 6 for 25 so would the 50k worked evo be quicker than the gtr . its something to ponder
  9. try www.racespec.com.au or pm racespec they should be able to help you with pistons
  10. jdm concept hold a bit of stock there not wa but atleast their stocks in the country and ready to go
  11. the evos are easier to drive than the gtr , their ayc/acd systems basically mean an idiot can drive them pretty quick. i have virtually no real track experience and I feel pretty confident in them when I take them to the limit , the car just sorts itself out on the other hand im constantly aware of the gtrs size and weight , plus the delay when attesa reacts to traction loss. you really need to position it properly in and before a corner where the evo you can just chuck it in and let the computer do the work i still find the gtr more rewarding though when driven well at the limit though and the rb26 is a far superior package 450 hp and some track spec brakes will turn the tables easily. if you have a stock non vspec 32 i find them very under braked
  12. 1jz is cheap and better than 25 but the 25 conversion is much easier , which realy is one of the main advantages of the cef , its ready for any rb very easily having said that its not that hard and the 1j is an awesome engine . the soarer turbo setup sucks though
  13. real not copy any colour please pm me
  14. if it could be proven that the supplier in japan and the agent in australia conspired to bring a car in deliberately and knowingly that was not fit for purpose could you possibly have some recall under the fair trading act against the australian agent?
  15. this is the risk of importing a car , if you pick one that cant be complied you picked , bought it and own it , what does it have to do with the raw ? If you can in some way prove the agent acting to import the car for you knowingly misleeded you to the condition of the car then you may have a case under fair traiding legistlation
  16. i think your on the money i would think if they have issued a defect to another car , ie not yours but some other cars registration number then its really not your problem , let them chase up the other skyline with the different number if it doesnt clear the defect
  17. it is very easy to change the kms
  18. dont get hung up on the km use the condition of the car as a guide also consider what you want the car for , cause you might get a bit dissapointed in the auto sedans lack of power and go hunting for more pretty soon lots of people buy the n/as and you see them soon after going how do i turbo it
  19. there only liable if its their work that is at fault for it keep breaking if its some cheap ebay china part thats faulty and they keep fixing it but it constantly breaks cause the part is defective or sub standard then its not there fault but if so they have poorly explained this , i would have fixed it showen you exactly what was the fault causing the issue and explained why its breaking and if it keeps happening that its not the workshops fault if i was them no use telling people just to get stuffed
  20. i sold my 98 gtt sedan for the gtr i dont regret it , the gtt just didnt excite enough the gtr is a thrill every time you drive it its also been an extremely reliable daily driver , complete with kid seats in the back
  21. i like my 80$ new china helmet ive never used it yet but its cool to put on a play project gotham racing 3 on the xbox 360
  22. i would sell the sII 33 and spend a bit on upgrading to an s15 and invest the rest your nan wanted you to enjoy it so your enjoying some of it and while the 34 is great , the s15 is a better package . the 34 is pretty similar to your 33 , not much point upgrading bit better overall but not enough to justify the changover price
  23. so your going to build you engine before you pursue this quote right ?
  24. lance asked people on this forum for their opinion and they are giving it i dont see any problem with that and discussing whats cheaper , whats better that is basically the purpose of this forum it might have run its course tho , he definetly has enough info to consider now
  25. that would be the way i would go
