they do have limitations , but if you can live with that then remaped stock ecu is a great option

big businesses dont stay around for ever either id like to be able to take my tune elsewhere , look at the tune , see what their doing , diagnostics etc im not saying its a not good product , it probably rules awesomely but their restrictive trade policies discourage a lot of potential purchasers

i had a made in jap 1st release ps2 cost about 700$ , it lasted a year and a bit i think sonys handling of the ps3 , if it doesnt become popular , will be one of the greatest blunders in the history of video games. way too late and way too expensive. historically , especially in the western markets , more expensive consoles and home computers have not fared well even if technically superior thats not to say its going to die , its sony after all . but it will be hard to maintain the dominant market position they have enjoyed on previous generation consoles now without pulling some sort of rabit from the hat

dont disconnect the o2 sensor and maf , the ecu will need them even for ignition timing also rb24s and rb30s were factory carbd , if you could find bits from those it might help

can you actually get into the property market at this time ? how much do you have as deposit , how much can you spend ? if its dificult then look at other investment opertunities do you need a house to live in because you have a family etc or can you easily live elsewhere (rent , share , parents) if you dont have to take the hit in lower return of investment because you NEED somewhere to live with stability of an owned house then you have to look at the other investments seriously you would be definetly coming in at the top of the market cycle now for housing so their may not be as fantastic returns in the short term that there have been but any investment over a car , especially a shit one like a volvo er volkswagen
