  1. 291$ is the price delivered to my door . ill pm you an offer
  2. i stand corrected definetly 17s the 32s dont brake poorly , just no where near as good as the brembo equiped gtrs . id prefer the extra security of the bigger brakes especially if you mod the 32 a bit , then i do think its a bit underbraked compared to how quick it is the vspec attessa computer is faster and has slightly different settings in terms of level of torque transfer per gforce sensor reading , sort of thing also . the 33 vspec has this faster computer and settings but the 33 std doesnt . i was under the impression that 32 and 33 vspec only were both the upgraded attessa 35k i think is just a bit too high for a 32 gtr . i have seen very low k series III 98 r33 gtrs for that sort of money . sure in 20 years the vspec may be more collectable , but given time any gtr will be collectable and the 33 sIII will be alot nicer and more relible to drive in the mean time
  3. your asking more than the brand new price of the apexi power intake kit http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/11 APEXi - Power Intake for GTR 507-N011 IN STOCK AU $ 291.45 Nissan BCN33/BNR34 RB25DETT
  4. you will have to put about 4 inches or so just before the cannon muffler not a major job though
  5. just some spirited test drives the std 32 gtr brakes are basically same size as 33 gtst brakes and a 32gtr sure goes a hell alot quicker so def room for improvement there imo the money asked for the 32vspecs is not worth it . min 30k for a nice example . you could easily add brakes and suspension for the price difference to basically come up to vspec std and have lots of money left for some mods/tidy up and the vspec rims are 16inch also
  6. yeah , hp stands for horsepower dude even so thats pretty good . actually i forgot it had an a powerfc with untuned stock map , which is a bit more leaner than the factory tune so that helped a bit too . but still all 1st level basic mods so pretty good output for the $$$ spent it was quite happy to break tracktion in 2nd with 18x8.5s on it .
  7. changes are bbs rims to accomodate brembos brembos front and rear different spec ATTESSA 4wd system (faster and more agressive) under car bracing different suspension settings , much firmer and slightly lower from experiencing my 33 vspec vs the normal 32 gtrs the brembos are well worth it , i found the 32s a bit under braked particularly if rotors are getting on a bitu
  8. my r33 gtst made 270ish rwhp with boost , exhaust and filter . it doesnt take much to get them moving but put the evo on a track , even stock and it will chew you up and spit you out . do chip exhaust filter on the evo and he will own you in strait line too
  9. dont hijack my thread dude! i dont remeber of the top of my head what other people with gt-ss/2560s are making but i dont want more than 3-350 max rwkw and i dont think those turbs will get to 350 anyway it was about 700$ extra fitted for the custom 3.5inch system over the 3 but bear in mind that for a gtr that system is only going to be 3.5inch from the cat onwards , the twin fronts will probably be about 2.25 on both systems . so it seems like a lot for just a bigger cat and catback . especially given some of the 3inch metal cats are flowing huge numbers , far greater than a traditional ceramic cat in even 4inch
  10. Hey everyone . Just wondering on your thoughts on wether I should get a 3inch or 3.5 inch system for my GTR . Plans are mild mods , HKS GT-SS or 2560r lowmounts and support systems to match that sort of setup . no internal changes at this stage. Obviously bigger is better but I have found a big price jump in the 3.5 inch system so is it worth it ?
  11. Its hard to say at. 80-90% likely it wont happen at this stage , but in the future who knows . sony are under tremendous pressure from game companies to incorporate something like this due to the massive losses they are taking from 2nd hand games . they are also under pressure from movie and music companies to incorporate some sort of protection into their respective media's. And dont forgot sonys numerous audio cd copyprotection/spyware fiascos . they have a track history of liking this sort of thing even if its obviously a very stupid idea.
  12. thanks!
  13. while cost was a factor , given the number of private entries running sierras at the time , it didnt seem they had much of a problem . Cost was really used as psudo justification . The main issue was the lack of competiveness of the domestic cars and growing lack of support for the formula from the mainstream australian public because of it.
  14. http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=10033 this will suck if it happens
  15. if its a 4 door the rear tail lights are quite different and much prefered on the s2
  16. could be throttle position sensor if hunting for idle
  17. thanks geoff not sure if im too keen on changing the way the power steering works though ..... its probably not as bad as I think it might be
  18. does anyone know the answers to this question ?
  19. theres not much you can do except get a full inspection , compression , leak tests and hope for the best . if your prepared to pay 25-30k for a realy good 93/94 r32 then there are some good clean examples that will give you the best chance of reliable motoring . if you spend 20 or less good luck .
  20. its pretty obvious if your car has a turbo all the intake piping is different and immedietly visable ontop of the engine
  21. Need to get a prospective 32gtr checked out what do I need to get checked ? thanks
  22. umm this is the liberal party that has destroyed the 15 year import process and forced us into the rediculous current raws import scheme for everything else ......... i think you need to think again dude cause you not going to get much support from the import car scene for a liberal plus coservatives are just stupid , look at george w
  23. yeah thats the way it works multiple settings for different boost levels the single avcr solonoid is pretty good and has been used successfully on many big bo0st cars the only real problem with it is its tied to your powerfc , so if you change that you have to change to another ebc
  24. some of the other boost controllers offer extra features like boost mapped to gear , boost mapped to rpm , scramble mode , the powerfc kit just has 4 boost settings and thats it pretty much no extra fancy crap . you get an lcd readout on the hand controller
  25. advantages cheap control and logging on hand controller works well disadvantages not as flexible as some of the more expensive boost controllers
