so how come your power fc works perfectly when others struggle with harsh shifts and incorrect gears and kickdowns ? did they do anything when installing ? send anything to the auto ?

is your link a wired in or a plug in ? if its plug in its the first 1 I have seen that works . As its a board that goes inside your ecu it might possibly work . if its wired in then yes it seems they can work , as my post refered to plug in ecus . Essentially it seems that the auto trans needs some inputs from the factory sensors and as long as those are still given to the auto when you wire in your new ecu you may be alright . There have been a few autos running autronics in wa sucessfully . As for the wolf plug in steve claimed it did work , then when I asked if it operated exactly like the factory ecu he admited it did operate differently. This is what he said : "Aftermarket ECUs all effect autos but we have had no real problems. Sensor benders also effect autos if you need to make large changes as the load values etc are substantially altered and do alter the Autos performance. Worst case we have had is like a mild shift kits been fitted." heres some threads http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...uto+aftermarket http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...uto+aftermarket

limited as in less options for aftermarket engine management . no powerfc , no wolf , virtually no plug in ecus will run the auto exactly the same as the stock ecu from what I have been able to accertain . but if you know anymore information on the subject please share cause I have an auto r33 sedan theres a rather large thread floating around a few weeks back on auto engine management and that was the general consensus of it also

even if their quality is awesome and the service is so good they wipe your ass for you while your in their shop taking a shit , $500 for a mild steel dump pipe is totally insane

Hey everyone , I bought this boost controller and it didnt work . It powered on but wouldnt control boost . On low setting it would do nothing , On high setting it would do nothing unless you cranked it all the way and then it went all spastic , 1 moment on stock boost next moment on +1bar etc . Replaced the main control unit black box thing and with a known working one and no problems . DezertEagle refunded my money ! He didnt really have to . It was just the right thing to do . I was interstate in perth so what was I gonna do about it . I couldnt drive down and kick his ass ! But he did it anyway so I want to give maximum respect to him . If anyone is ever dealing with him in the future I can vouch that he is honest and trustworthy and even when things go bad won't let you down . So send him a PM or something and tell him good on you , things like this make a forum community like SUA a great place to trade . -

Powerfc + A-lsd in R33
32vspecII replied to Moanie's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I think it was pretty much summed up on page 1 "The active LSD on some GTSs uses a signal from the ECU like the GTRs do and i don't think PFCs have this function but as of now the Wolf plugin dose. A clever electronics person could modify the TPS signal to send the inverted signal to the ADCU." if steve is correct and he probably is if wolf now do it , you need to send a modified tps signal to active lsd . the power fc wont feature this , just as it wont send signals required to the auto transmission computer in auto skylines . i dont know why nismogirls alsd works with the powerfc , but it could be a. her latest powerfc does support this b. whoever installed the powerfc has sent the tps signal also -
i think even with the high costs of buying a rb26 your going to spend lots and lots on a 25 to get 400rwkw . a full comprehensive rebuild will be required . If you can find a rb26 in good nick (and thats going to be the problem) you should see 350-400rwkw with a pair of low mount turbos , cams and the usual bolt on mods .
-
way to expensive , about 20k would be more like it

Purchase advice - 4WD vs RWD Stagea!!
32vspecII replied to Brazen's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
the triptronic r34 wont fit the rb26dett . and even if it did it would die very quickly about 250rwkw is their limit in the 34gtt and a mild rb26 will start to push that out very quickly . its not that much of a difficult conversion tho , just a bit more expensive because of extra parts needed for the handbrake conversion , interior modification . but you will definely need a gtr manual gearbox for the conversion . but the 25 neo rocks anyway the ecus are remapable allowing you to run lots of power with large injectors/afms and keep control of your auto which is not possible in the series 1 non neos.
