  1. Thanks for the links mate. My searching skills obviously not upto scratch. Oil pressure and levels are fine.. Pretty sure that its the exhaust gasket problem discussed in one of the links you provided. The most plausable reason for what i'm experiencing. Cheers, Andrew
  2. Hey guys, Hope you can help me out with this. When i start my car, the engine runs fine, but if i start driving before its totally warmed up (ie. reading half on temp gauge), it runs smoothly but makes and annoying kind of tapping noise from the engine. I dont drive it hard with the engine cold and this has only recently occurred. I am avoiding driving incase i do some damage to it. Once the eingine is hot the sound goes away... Has anyone had this probem? and if so is there anything i should do about this before something bad happens? Cheers, Andrew
  3. Hi there, I am selling a 3 gauge din holder and an auto gauge mechanical boost gauge (reading in BAR). These items have never been used. I originally bought with the intention of using but have changed my mind with the setup i want to go ahead with. DIN Holder $20 Boost gauge $40 They are the same as the items listed on www.justjap.com if you want to check some pics Cheers
  4. Cheers for that. The article pretty much answered all my questions

    Tas Fuel

Just wanted to know if there is anywhere in hobart that you can get 98 RON fuel, or is it still unavailable? Also does anyone use octane booster in their cars? I was considering using some but wasn't sure if its going to cause any damage to the engine etc.
  6. Could i get your Lid from the centre console? How much you asking?
  7. Hey, I live in Hobart... any chance someone could fix me up with a copy... my internet is SLOW
  8. cheers for the feedback, i guess my cars fine, either that or all our cars a screwed! My car is an r33 s1 by the way
  9. I was checking my oil pressures the other day and noticed that the oil pressure was at a low level (between zero and the lowest line), when revving the car up it does increase to around the 4 mark. I have nothing to compare this to so can you help me out? what would be a normal level for the oil pressure. My oil levels are at the right point, and i have recently done an oil change.
  10. about Mt Wellington, it is about the only place where you can drift in solitary. No houses and very little traffic at night!! can be a little sketchy when its wet and cold but that hasn't stopped me yet. I've only recently got an r33 which makes it interesting compared to my old car that was only capable of drift in the rain, an old celica. It is bumpy in areas but makes for a good time. There are other places that are good for drift...
