Are you willing to trade for a more expensive car?

Thanks alot for all the info, and after searching around a little bit, it seems as though it would be a much better idea to buy a car that has been modified already, to around the same extent as to what I would have. So now the price has gone up substantially but it seems as though I will save some money this way in the long run.

Greetings all, Excuse my ignorance, but what is the difference between a normal GTR and a GTR V Spec? Are there any advantages in searching and waiting to find a V Spec over the standard GTR if I am just going to modify it anyway? There appears to be a few R32 GTR's for reasonable prices around at the moment and am looking at buying my first turboed car and my first 4WD car. My first choice just on looks is the R34, but I can not afford that right away so 32 it shall be. Are there any traps out there for first timers such as myself? Any help is much appreciated.
