will your triple core radiator fit a gtr? interested in a swap with a stock gtr one, if yours is in good nick no leaks etc.

i so regret having missed out on this dyno day. had a family gathering i had to go to. judging by the photos and everybody's comments in this thread, i shoulda pulled a sickie on the family gathering and gone along to the dyno day to be with my *preferred* family! nice work will and the boys at boostworx! nice photos too

If you go through the OCAU thread, u can see that this reports is actually an unfinished draft that was leaked. I've heard some dyno operators in SA are recommending the ethanol blends for maximum power, but cars must be tuned to suit the fuel. Don't know how accurate these rumours are, so treat them with a grain of salt. I don't think I'm game to try anything else unless I know for sure it won't affect longevity in my car. Ultimate is consistent for me, the cleanest of the lot, and I have enough power as it is at the moment I wonder where SA gets its fuel from and which would be the most "fresh" fuel. Anybody know?

I reckon the HKS SSQV would play a part in it. I'm guessing you have it set up to vent to atmosphere? You can try get a plumb back - that will make a difference. If you're keen on the sound, then look at getting an aftermarket ECU and getting it tuned to suit.

I have a reasonably modified 1989 NA6CE MX-5 (imported Eunos Roadster actually), as well as a newly complied and registered R32 GTR with HKS GT2530's and supporting mods. The MX-5 is much fun it's criminal. Different sort of fun tho - and I'd actually take the MX-5 for hills driving. The GTR is just insanely powerful and efficient, but the MX-5 is supremely fun to drive. I think my next car will be the new MX-5, modified of course

I'm surprised nobody's suggested the good old MX-5! Unless carrying capacity is an issue - these cars are brilliant handlers! Lots of fun without using lots of fuel

Hey guys, I'm in the market for an aftermarket speedo that reads above 180km/h for my GTR. Mr Zac (Slidewize Imports) mentioned that there are differences in the speedos between the early (pre August 91?) and late R32 GTRs. Can anyone confirm these differences? Just worried if I buy one meant for a late model it won't work on my Jan 90 GTR. If I buy the speedo only and not the whole instrument cluster, will I need anything else for it to work properly? ie. different cables or anything like that? Cheers, Alan

I'd be interested. I have an engagement party to go to on the Sat tho; depends what time it starts. My R32 GTR hits the road tonight, so I'd be interested in seeing how it goes I'd be sticking to the back of the cruise tho and keeping it slow until I get used to it. Big difference to an MX-5, and a 180 I used to own!

Yes, I ended up getting a hold of a nice R series plate myself The R and S series plates are standard alpha-numeric and have to be a specific size according to the regulations. You can't get slimline ones for these
