  4. Hi All, I'm looking to get back into the import car game with a nice V35 and am having trouble deciding who to use to help me. I have narrowed it down to Prestige Motorsport & J-spec, but have the following considerations: Prestige Motorsport Pros Good, detailed website Geoff is quick to respond to emails and happy to spend time on the phone explaining things Cons Based in WA (so harder to yell at someone if things go wrong) A couple of bad experiences in the forum (but seem to be from a while back) Somewhat onerous service agreement J-spec Pros In Victoria Mostly good feedback Cons Take ages to respond to emails I want to make a decision by the end of this weekend because I am itching to get the process started! I'm hoping for some definite, recent opinions (within the forum rules of course). I'm not after alternatives unless you are super super ecstatic about the process and service. I am definitely the kind of person who wants to be in contact regularly, hence my reservation with J-spec. Thanks in advance, y'all.
  5. I have a brand new o2 XDA mini for sale... it's 100% brand new, sealed in the box. Only got it today (Wednesday 3/8) and it has to go. Full warranty. Do I really need to take a photo of a box? Reserve $700 Instant $750 Cheaper than on ebay guys. Located in Melbourne.
  6. Hey Al, yeah gone the sensible route for a while - I've got a few other things I need to take care of instead like travel & business stuff. The good car will come again!
  7. My contribution: BTW... I made it a ciggy because I don't condone illegal drugs.
  8. I work almost across the road on Prospect St.
  9. As veteran of 2 accidents I know how little it takes to lose control. I was not what you'd call a "hoon" by any stretch of the word (just a crap driver - I admit it) and I was lucky that I didn't hit anything at high speed. Skyline is gone and I'm driving a plodding Falcon on gas. Ironically, I now work for a firm which deals primarily with Accident Investigation and Forensic Reconstruction of traffic accidents. Let me tell you, its amazing how many times the slightest change in road conditions/surface are responsible for serious injuries and deaths. No matter how good your car is, it is primarily the design of the road and mother nature which dictate matters. The question is how to discourage overconfidence by young drivers. One of the biggest problems with so-called "advanced driving courses" is that they often contribute to increased exhuberance and faith in skills that are often lacking. I know the problem for me was that I hadn't actually practised how to recover in an emergency situation - it's not something you can learn on the spot. So what can be improved?? Increased education? Better enforcement? More stringent statutory requirements? Who knows
  10. would u sell without the nitrous kit?
