Bump I wish I had the time to mess around with this.

Well this time I was hit by an uninsured 4WD (joy). I've had way too much bad luck with this car, and I really can't be bothered stuffing around fixing it again, so it's time to take the money and move on to something cheap and practical like an ex-taxi on LPG :throwup:. Lesson to all those on 3rd party... 1993 R33 GTS25t Coupe Factory Blue/Green pearl 5sp Manual 92k km 3" catback Apexi springs Series 2 wing GTR side skirts Blitz pod filter pretty stock otherwise HD clutch Reg til Feb 2005. Drives very well and cleanly, good condition for 11 year old car. Front drivers side impact, will need drivers Front Guard, bonnet, front bar, drivers headlight and a bit of straightening. Engine untouched and starts fine, but radiator leaked so can't drive far (I'm pretty sure the radiator is fine though, I think the leak came from either the fluid bottle which was broken or a loose hose). Serviced the DAY before accident and was running beautifully - oil/spark plugs/brakes/new battery, timing belt done @ 84k, HD clutch @ 89k, so once repaired it will be a great drive. Looking for $10.5k or so, stereo not included. If you are interested in a bit of a fixer upper, come have a look and then we can talk the sphincter of the universe. Car is sitting in front of my house in East Brighton, Melbourne, Vic. I guess this would especially suit someone who was gonna do stuff like custom stereo, respray, front bar etc, save a few grand on the stuff u'd be chucking anyway. I'm not in the mood for shit kickers so if you are REALLY interested then PM me. Remember, as much as we hate to admit it, the Skyline is more or less a Japanese commonwhore (tho 10123987 times better), so of course it handle normal driving. Only prob with short trips is warming the engine up (as Rianto mentioned) and maybe the battery if they are too short. I drive my car either to work (8 mins) or uni (15 mins) most days, no problems (besides getting dented and broken into)

OK, we've had the Northern suburbs battery thread, what about retailers in the Inner South? Also, when changing the battery, is there anything you have to do besides pull it out and put the new one in? -Max
