  3. hey its Daniel, yeah good to meet you guys too. Nice to know that that fellow skyline owners are pretty kewl people. Sounds like most had a good night. It was an eventful first skylines crooooz for us. Got pulled over just as we left Kirrawee for going into the roundabout (cnr bath rd) a bit hard. As we were one of the ones left behind, was just trying to catch up to the others..... thats all officer, i promise... Copper was really good bout it, gave me a breath test, said that he doesn’t mind us guys getting together taking photos and stuff but we just gotta take it easy. Also said that he’s into cars as well 'n told me that he has something that could blow this out of the water (r33 gtst)..... hmmmm. didn’t really wanna push my luck, so I didn’t ask him what it was! then on the way into the nasho, got a flat on my front left. so had to get the good ol' space saver out and limp all the way to the lookout and back. Thanks to those who stopped to help... BiZzReVhEad + gts4. On the way out had to pull over a few times to let people past me. Thanks also to those that slowed down to see why i pulled over... sorry dont know ure forum names??? Props to Moanie for her 'fully sick' organisational skills... neva doubted ya even when it we were at p6d - 8:45pm Homebush and only a few lines were there! All good in the end!
  4. DaGr81, a mate of mine was in a similar situation, except he was the one at fault. He had NO insurance and NO rego. Rego expired a week before the accident! The other parties involved did have insurance and just let their respective insurance companies do the chasing up for them. It took few months to sort everything out, however his accident was complicated by some medical bills as an injury was believed to have been suffered by one of the drivers/passenger that was hit. By the sounds of things, no-one was seriously injured in ure accident??? re: Front cuts / spares, i get most of my parts from just jap in Kirrawee. They've been pretty good to me so far. http://www.justjap.com Hope it eventually all works our for you.... sooner than later!

  7. I’d usually get round 400-420k's with some occasional 'spirited' driving..... hmmmm
  8. riggaP, Problem fixed!!! Picked up an 'intermittent wiper relay' from just jap for 40 bucks on the weekend. Just plugged existing intermittent wiper cable into it and off she went. It’s a brownish box bout the size of a garage remote. When standing in front of the car, it sits in the top right hand side of the engine bay... just above the front passenger side wheel arch. What was strange was, I was meant to replace the one that I already had but didn’t have one at all??? Just a loose cable with nowhere to go??? Anyways, its working now so all good. Not sure if this is same solution for your car, but if it is... should be able to pick up one of these from a local 2nd hand import place. Having a bit of trouble uploading an image of 'relay' but can e-mail to you if you need it. Hope this helps.
  9. Yeah, kinda know what you mean. I find myself concentrating on the right time to turn the wipers off so that they don’t end up in the middle of the windscreen! Or i end up looking like a goose cuz the wipers are going heaps fast when its only sprinkling.... aghhhhhhhhhh! My mate said to me that things could be worse; the wipers could not be working at all! I guess he’s right?!?!? Anyways, I just got off the phone with Just Jap in Kirrawee, Sydney and the guy I spoke to said that there is a 'solenoid relay' that controls the wiper speed positioned to one side of engine bay. (he actually said 'left hand side of the engine bay' but I guess it depends on where your standing...hmmm) I assume it’s the driver side as this is closer to the base of the window wipers??? This may need to be replaced. Also said that he can get us one for bout $50 and I should be able to install myself. I'm no grease monkey but I’ll give it a go! Hoping to go out to Just Jap next week sometime. Will let you know how I go.
  10. riggaP, Found your thread from doing an 'intermittent' word search. Having exact same problem with my R33. Just wondering if you ended up sorting this out??? If so how and how much $$$???
  11. HPerboost, I know its a bit late but just wondering if you ever found a solution to your remote keyless entry problem.... having similar problem with r33. Central locking still works but remote doesnt. I also have replaced the battery and still nuffin. thanks,
