cef11e and CC I think that might be the go, are these rb25turbz commonly for sale round these here parts (yehaw!)? I am not interested in a super power up but I don't want Mr. standard wrx to toast me again What should I budget for if I was to do a change over? are there subsequent parts needed during the changeover of turbos or is it a bolt in replacement? Thanks guys oh and one last thing, I imaging it's worth doing the dump pipe from turbz while it is off right?

haha! cheers. theres a white cef often parked on pacific hwy near chats too --- who owns it?

fulleh :spew: -
same - oh but with a tad more boost... its an auto
-
really? that sounds like a lot of power for those mods? 150kw... I could understand a 130 with exhaust and a bit of boost but 150 seems a big jump in power after fixing a catback issue. you have the rb20det right?

Surprised by "Shannons", insuring under 25's now

the last one about immobilizer is pretty standard with any insurance, the limited kms is a certain plan, there are unlimited ones, and they didn't require you to have a lockup, but i guess it might affect the fees if you did not have offstreet parking. -

i insured my cefiro (turbo) with shannons for under 800 a year on their limited kms plan (from memory its 8000 a yr) I kept this insurance till right up to 8000 kms then i upgraded to an unlimited kms account for about 900 or so a year with no hassles. if you get the right people there on the ph they will sort you out so swoit, i got a young guy who loved jap cars and ended up having a 40 min convo with him about his impending trip to jap to pick out a stagea... he gave me an excellent deal. my car was fitted with a very good brant alarm / demobilisor and is parked in lockup garage overnight. I have has 1 at fault accident in past 3 years (yay for not being able to prove the dick i crashed into was hammering it round a blind corner). I have also rang up a few times to list mods i have added and they have only upped the rate a little bit and this again depended on who you got on the ph. my tip is just avoid the old farts they always seem to want to push up every cost possible. they even let me add wheels to the mods without upping the insurance. any more mods now and my rate will go up a bit but then its unlimited mods at no extra cost. I rate shannons! -
thats ok, it works for me

to his credit, he has already pointed this out about his username, so i'm just using it to give him a ribbing.... muhuhahahaha

you haven't been owned enough? not only did your unneccesarily harsh post (oh wait you made two didn't you with a different insult in each) make you look like a real wanker, you got owned and came back for more with a further retarded comment. You make me want to remove my brain with a rusty spoon. DUBS are 20"s small child. As I said, you should have been a stain on your mums dress. who double posts a different insult anyway? thanks for coming. :flamed:

how can your car be 'hecktick' with stockies? hehe have you looked through the for sale section on here? there are stacks of these sections on most jap performance related auto forums, shouldn't be hard to chase some stockies down as so many line owners have aftermart wheels, so there must be plenty of stockies left around in garages. Could try tradingpost.com.au too. -
cheers! i agree, its not getting suspension mods for track, that would be retarded, infact as a few other cefironites on here know, its air struts to continue the pimp 'limo-esque' style you referred to. ceff1e, cheers man! you know where i'm going with it... mr eps yup i'm from syd (as u guessed) hahaha funk master.. well yeah i def am into the pimped out ride style. I just think a lot of the neg comments here are people thinking i'm going down the usual jap drift/race spec styling (oh and dickheads who need to double post with idiotic comments). it will all make sense eventually, the wheels are a starting point. tim83mm, your momma shoulda swallowed instead of spread :sly:

i'd rather have most other colours than white believe me, but white was on the bargain vehicle - and i can see past dull paint for a quality car.... just div hunter i know what you mean dude, i am going to see what I can do about getting wider tyres, the current ones are the thinnest i've seen on 7.5 wide... i want a bit more sidewall that will help tuck the rim in a little bit but i'll still have to be daaamn careful.
-
WTF? nice input retard.
-
yeah thats your call - personally i'm sick of every jap car having flat coloured lightweights... just not what i'm into. dish is pimp when done right, but this cefiro has serious suspension plans which will negate the use of wide wheels or low bodykits. cheers
-
yeah i couldnt get the wires without mucho fkn around, a good sized wad of $$ and a lot of waiting time. always wanted neepers, these are the US ones, triple dipped chrome. mmmm 'sif not full sick!
-
18x7.5, +35 offset. fits perfect. i reckon they look a bit bigger because they sit out quite far. dished rims tend to look smaller imo.
-
theres a ceffy speedo cluster on ebay right now.
-
heres the new wheels. they're not ultra lightweight super happy driftosa rims 'overnight from japan' but they're PIMPIN and what i've been looking for for awhile. only prob is they hav lifted the car an inch so i need to lower it again, and i want to get wider tyres, the ones they came with are ultra skinny... yay. me = happy
