  1. hehe sounds good. Mate would it be alot of trouble of for you to e-mail me the engine wiring diagrams? so u rekon i could use the 25de loom and use a boost controller for the turbo, along with the programmable FC to suit an rb20det? harrr what a mouth ful!again, many thanks for the help...
  2. Ok cool, thankx. soory to be a pain but would it be too much trouble to check the wiring diagram?? just trying to get out of changing over to the rb20det loom, could i use the 25de loom with the addition of an aftermarket boost controller? thanks again mate, help is much appreciated.
  3. I'm building a 3ltr twincam turbo engine (using R32 head, non-vct) at the moment, would it be better to use the rb25de loom and attached sensors and use an AP engineering power fc for when its turbo'd? or change the loom and computer to rb20det and remap?
  4. wouldn't a RB20det Ecu go into the 25de loom? couldnt u do that and remap it?
  5. sorry to re-hash over things guys, seeing as my combo is going into a VL , i was wondering if the R32 RB25DE loom and ecu is able to run my RB30DET combo? What i am getting at is that if buy a complete RB25DE engine and loom/ecu , then i can use the entire top end except the exhaust side, where i will fit my turbo manifold etc. any help would be extremely good !!!! or should i just buy a RB20DET engine and loom/ecu package and try to source the head buy itself??
  6. Great, just what i wanted to hear!! I take it that means the stock R32 RB25DE loom and ecu is able to support a turbo application e.g. correct knock sensors ?
  7. If the motor is to go into something other than a skyline e.g. VL. Is it possible then, to buy say an R32 RB25DE complete engine and loom/ECU package, and combine the necessary parts etc entire top half of the motor including loom and ECU injectors, the RB30 bottom end, and an RB20DET exhaust manifold with chosen turbo ?? I have been noticing complete engine packages for around $1500. this seems the cheapest way to me, to get things running until bigger injectors and fueling requirents are needed? or am i WAY off?
