haha same car I'm looking at Krawler. Ring the guy, it's not just the seatbelt mounting points that are missing... it was in an accident where the rear quarter panel was damaged (in Japan) and they had to cut away a section of the chassis about 10" in length. I'm thinking about getting an RACQ check done and an engineer's report. But, so far, everyone is telling me to steer clear of it.

I'm looking at buying an ECR33 GTS-t (not via import) but the car did not pass a compliance inspection due to it not having seat belt mounting points. The owner tells me that there is no way to have a second compliance inspection is his state (or, he believes, any other state) but as I'm in the NT it may be different. So what I want to know is: Is it possible to fix the issue of the mounting points and get the car complianced once that is done? Common sense tells me it shouldn't be an issue but some laws seem to disregard it.... Thanks in advance, Seqo.
