  1. you must have been doing more than 105.. Lose your license is 25kph over.. so with the 3kph tolerance factored in you must have been doing at least 108kmh.. regardless you were speeding even if the limit was 100kph
  2. It will definetly backfire if you have a atmo BOV as that lets measured air out of the system.. so it runs mega rich when you lift your foot off.. Skylines also run mega rich anyway.. something like a SAFC2 or NEO will do fine.. If you intend on doing more mods (bigger turbo, injectors etc) get the Emanage Ultimate
  3. Nope as you are folding the metal inside and rolling it.. it still puts stress on the lip.. Mine were rolled only.. and they developed slight spiderweb cracks
  4. 2-3psi increase.. BOV 3 1/2 catback with 7 1/2 tip FMIC more than enough to make your car run like crap.. And i certainly wouldnt be doing any regular rev limiter action without some form of engine management p.s. No sarcasm.. i honestly think you are a knob
  5. No the limiter is to protect the car from knobbos who dont know when to change gear.. It still does damage.. just not as much as over revving

  11. good quality electrical tape... If you were in Melbourne id give you a hand If someone has a picture of a coil ill use my awesome paint skills to show you where to tape them
  12. Just thought id add.. Engine management wont do shit if its your coils.. I bought a SAFCII and its useless if the coils are stuffed.. I spent 45ins/1Hr taping them up yesterday and now the car pulls stronger than ever and no missing at all! So eventually ill need to get splitfires.. but at least i isolated the problem before throwing money at it
  13. I was having missfire issues at 4500rpm and up Have R34 SMIC running 9.5 PSI single stage boost.. HKS superdragger Catback Copper Plugs 1.1mm GAP SAFCII installed but not tuned yet.. Figured it was rich+retard as it was dead on 4500rpm+ Today i removed the coils and taped them up.. BANG.. No more missfire.. pulls hard all the way to redline Will invest in some Splitfires soon.. currently around $495 Would highly recommend taping up your coils if you are having this issue.. It takes around 1hr to remove/tape/put back together and is a sure fire way to see if coils are the issue You shouldnt need to be gapping the plugs at around stock boost/minimal mods Gapping the plugs isn't the solution.. Sure it fixes the missfire.. but the coils are still the issue If anyone needs help, im happy to guide/help.. as this forum has been an invaluable source of information and help to me
  14. Just thought id say i used this guide today to install a SAFC2 into my series 2 R33 Wires are completely different colours.. but the locations are all the same.. Fairly easy to do this install and saved myself $150 cheers

  16. i would put money on the fact that it missfires at 4500rpm.. SPOT ON 4500RPM.. Gapping the plugs isnt the answer.. I did that and it fixed my missfires.. but also induced pinging.. now i could be wrong here (i often am) but wouldnt putting a smaller gapped plug in, slightly advance the timing (therefor inducing pinging..) Spark doesnt have as far to travel.. so it sparks slightly earlier? based on coilpack design which work on resistance? Im having the exact same issue.. but im getting a SAFC2 installed and tuned withing the next 2 weeks.. so ill let you know the outcome EDIT* just noticed Dale FZ1 has the same idea i do.. I believe it is rich/retard.. simply as it missfires DEAD ON 4500rpm everytime.* so hopefully the SAFC2 will fix the issue

  18. ive had a few quotes in Melbourne.. best quote i got was for 1,2 and 4th gear synchros, bearings and seals for $1500.. Mine has trouble going into 1st.. (when rolling) 2nd if i shift fast same for 3rd and 4th.. Ive learnt to live with it.. ill have it fixed eventually

  24. After a SAFC2 or a SAFC neo.. would prefer the SAFC2 for its knock sensor readout.. also after either a cat back or turbo back exhaust... im after a quiet one.. this HKS superdragger is driving me insane at times.. sounds awesome but just too loud for my liking Let me know guys
  25. is the xforce 3" or 3.5"? Is the middle resonator a hotdog or a bigger oval style.. Stainless or mild steel? Also interested in the black safc2... perhaps a package deal could be negotiated
