Protek in Preston gave me a good quote on the install and tune of a Safc Neo was around $200-250 i think.. Ill get around to getting it done one day

Had my timing belt plus all other belts.. idler tensioner bearing etc... was $375 inlcuding all the parts and labour Just gotta find a decent mechanic

For all those people complaining about shit fuel economy.. this is how to work it out... 1) DO NOT trust your fuel gauge If i followed my fuel gauge id be in here crying about my economy too... ok.. here we go Fill you tank completely drive drive drive... after 200Ks refill all the way to the top now divide the amount of litres you put in (lets say 29.56L) by your ks (200kms) = 14.78L per 100kms According to my fuel gauge my car is empty after 300ks.. however i am currently using 14.4L/100kms which means id be able to travel at least 450ks before my tank is bone dry

thats not the noise we are talking about... its a full on shudder between 1500-2000rpm while accelerating

Have the same problem... im having my gearbox fixed soon.. (bearings, synchros, seals, clutch) will update if the noise goes away..

The active LSD uses a computer and hydraulic pressure to lock the diff i believe... there isnt much info on the ALSD... which sucks as i have one in my gtst

Safc 2 has more adjustment plus a knock sensor.. dont think its available anymore.. Safc Neo is the new one with even more adjustability but no knock sensor..

Might as well add my ride... Im around the North East.... so feel free to wave

SAFC 2 or SAFC NEO p.s. it takes longer to warm your engine up.. as in 10-15mins of sedate driving

An atmo bov will hardly make any difference at all... ive done the maths and on my R33 Series 2 it makes around .5L per 100ks diffference Skylines drink fuel.. no 2 ways around it... your best bet will be to do the cheaper stuff first.. O2 Sensor.. etc.. If your driving is mainly short trips you will use more fuel too.. as while the engine is cold it uses more fuel.. SAFC will make a difference.. plus make the car more fun to drive.. (more power less fuel)

$18500 for a R34 GTT coupe is hardly the normal price that one would pay these days...
