  1. I think cars that have had engine swaps ahould still be allowed. What about '30/31/32 Skylines that have had an RB25 transplanted, for example. And keep in mind it's not a Skyline only class.A lot of genuine street cars have engine swaps. And my 2c on being worried about driving home from the track, from threat of defects on the way.......A Genuine street car should be ok,as driving to/from the track should be no different from driving down to the shops,as a Genuine street car would do.
  2. I recently bought a GReddy full auto turbo timer and harness off them, and was very pleased with the service.Helpfull and quick responces. I can't comment on the intercoolers, but if they say they are genuine hybrid, then they probably are. Hope this helps
  3. Naa,Mark has run an 8.02,and Michael's Gem has run 8.9 something....Remember that all the mags are like 3-4 months behind.....
  4. Any chance you could dig up that 900kw FJ?????????? Mark Ashford's S14 is quite impressive, but the thing that has been letting it down are the bad results thus far.At least he's going in the right direction now.7's can't be too far off. Micheal Sherringham's (sp?) FJ Gemini must have 600+HP now,to run an 8 sec pass. And a 1.3 sec 60ft time! Very impressive!
  5. Haha Note that an HR31 would be a fair bit lighter once the RB20 is chucked out though.
  6. I reckon the old FJ20,absolutly full tilt, would give a built RB26 a good run for its money. There's many Skyline's with 900+hp in Japan, but I haven't seen an FJ20 built to the same extent? Has anyone? I'm thinking an FJ24,or maybe even take it to 2.6L with a spacer plate under the head,...and with everything done to it,and a T51R SPL BB turbo,or maybe T88H 34D,etc...... Would be nice to see anyway!!!!!
  7. They do http://www.slidewizeimports.com
  8. An HR31 GTS-X is 1360kg to be precise.That's with the factory RB20DET though.... I fear no RB's.
  9. Just for interest's sake, the intro to "final battle" has a bit of Z31 action.(little bit)
  10. Them's fighte'n words!!!
  11. Hi Guys.I hope this is in the right section.... With the couple of recent threads about people getting ripped off,I thought I'd share a good experiance for a change! I have recently bought a new GReddy full auto turbo timer and wiring harness,on-line,from SlideWise Imports.I delt with a gentleman by the name of Zac Hinton, and found him to be 100% professional, courtious, and more than happy to answer any queries I had,and generally returned my e-mails in a matter of hours,or less.Good service, and good prices to boot! The timer and harness cost me $190 delivered to my door!! I'm very happy with SlideWise, and would recommend they are definatly worth a look!! PS- I wasn't asked or intieced by anyone to write this,I just though a good news story would be nice for a change!
  12. aaaaaaahhhh,the joys of GTS-X ownership
  13. The best fuel in Port macquarie is Optimax, and I last paid 114.9cents/L for it.
  14. Beg your pardon,I didn't see that
  15. Hi Timd.Where abouts are you on the north coast? RE your prob...if you measure from the front of your rims,on the inside, the distance between the left and right rims. Then, measure the same distance, but from the back of the rims....if that makes sence. This measurement has to be the same,so that your wheels are both paralell to each other.Obviously,if one wheel looks like its turned, and the other is straight, you will have to wind the "turned" side tire rod in,till that wheel is straight! Hope that helps
  16. Are'nt all HR31 hubs the same? I thouhgt the "ring gear" bit for the ABS was just added to the inside of the hub, with no offset change.... As we know the HR31 struts have 100mm mounts,so type M or Z32 4-pots would fit,but are you also saying the bigger type-M/Z32 rotors have the same bearing as the HR31's??
  17. Just wondering where you say the PNV "has" over 250rwkw......Does this mean it's finished?? If so,I haven't seen ya up here yet!
  18. Pics are in ant's gallery!
  19. 9's would go under the stock rear end,but they'd have to be spot on the right offset I think. This thread is now located in Classic Skyline's.Not in General Discussion....It's a new section a bit futher down the page.... and I notice no ones flamed me about my RB20 comments.... where's Ghostrider? Edit: ok,so I was too late
  20. oooooooooooooo, new venue Now we're classic! Those Rays don't look like 7's...must be a bad angle in the pic or something? Stick some 9's under there mate! :)
  21. I believe DR30's have 100mm mount spacing, which is the same as HR31 and the later 4 pots.I *think* there's something about the HR31 struts/hubs that make the upgrade easier....There's detailed info regarding this in the R30 Skylines thread......
  22. yeah,Id measure up some R31 stuff...could use x-member,lower arms, and even struts maybe? That'd get the DR handeling better
  23. Are the new rears the "rays" you're talking about? Personally,I think they're a bit skinny! I like the Wantanabe's better, maybe just with a fatter rear, but that's just me! Very nice looking DR by the way Ant! Very clean. That does look like an HR31 front lip, doesn't it......
  24. Bloody RB20's again,eh? I tell ya,if I could sell my RB20 to finance my FJ20 install,I'd be a very happy man For interest's sake,my FJ spun up 180 something KW's (246hp) at the wheels on 10PSI......Who's RB20 has done that? muwhahahaha
