  1. hehehe, cool.I want credit for starting the "silly crap" trend Rather than waste threads with my crap, here's a few more of my "works" "Blue-print" Daihatsu Midget 2.Tint,wheels,wider front gaurds
  2. Thouhgt I'd try something a bit different Just done wheels, tint, paint, couple of vents, and decal.
  3. Ahhhh, all becomes clear now grasshopper but please don't put Ti badges on it!
  4. Sweet!
  5. Haha,I found that out the hard way! BOOSTMEISTER,the front bar is off an HR31.
  6. Just a quick job.Not that my longer jobs are much better
  7. Ummm,forgive me for being an idiot,but aren't all PN's HR30's?
  8. Blaady hell! I need to learn me how to do that! BOOSTMEISTER,you should chop a pic of your Soarer!!
  9. Sorry guys,my bad.I was meaning that it had a 31 Blinker custom fitted to it,I know the 31's are in a different location stock. Of course it's not anyway,I forgot the later 30's had that style blinker. :slap: I was still thinking of the old "square" type. HR31 flares are avaiable from R31 House, and there's spose to be some guys from "R31 Skyline club" getting copies made up here.
  10. Hmmm, yeah, you could be right actually.Does look a bit short now I look at it again...god Im bored
  11. Hmmmm, looks like a '31 unit to me.I'll stand corrected if not though
  12. Mmmmmmmm, flares.Looks like an HR31 gaurd repeater on it too.
  13. Yeah, that's what I was talkin about with the early front, and race replicar style.Fat. The flares wouldn't be the prob,it'd be the very wide wheels needed to fill them!
  14. When I first bought my HR30,I planned to slice the nose off the gaurds, and try and adapt an HR31 nose to it..... Here's a thought, does the iron mask front look better cause it makes them look more like HR31's? :flamed: flame suit on...
  15. >what is up with that??? did you see this one? see what this blokes holding????? Haha,no one's going to give him s**t about owning a 4 door! dr30man,try http://fj20.com Ghostrider, can't find the one you're talking about? Did you see this one? Early model grille and lights, later everything else! Looks ok I think! http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/u...%2Fowners38.htm I reckon the ironmask fronts are the best looking, but having said that, early fronts with the slat grille, and flares on 'em,like race replicars look fat!
  16. What the hell? A wagon?!??!! Why would you slap that horrible arse on such a nice car?
  17. Try searching the R30 Skylines thread in General Discussion. There may be something usefull in there.
  18. Thanks guys. You wouldn't believe how long it took me to find a 120Y pic to tinker with....Seems nobody has pictures of them on the net.I wonder Y? haha
  19. Ghostrider, could you e-mail it to me? I think attachments have to be under 100k to work on here?
  20. I'm almost ashamed to put my effort up here, after looking at some of the quality workmanship! I don't have Photoshop,so have to use the povo "Arcsoft Photostudio 2000".......well,that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it! 120Y Mods: Paint job Lowered Big wheels and flares Tinted windows Custom door-mounted rear view mirror Grille badge removed Stock gaurd repeater deleted, and replaced with an R31 Skyline unit Custom side skirts Custom front lower spoiler Exposed intercooler
  21. That should also work for FJ20,Z18,all L series Dato's,etc.... I'm sure a few people would be interested in the mods. Better get typing!
  22. Remember to,that methanol negates the need for an intercooler at all,as it is so cool burning. I guess it depends on how much money you have to spend on a cooler....For those lucky enough to be able to shell out $1000+ for high quality Japanese kits, the choice is easy. For those of us on much lower budgets, sometimes we need to look at much cheaper alternitives(ie truck cores),but still hope for good results.
  23. I beg to differ Let's say a 2L engine needs to swallow 20L of air a minute at x boost to pressuries its 2L capacity, and produce 400hp. Now,if an engine 5times that capacity needs its capacity filled, wouldn't you imagine it'd need much more volume of air?(5 times?) And yes I realise truck and car engines have different requirments, but a big capacity engine needs to swallow a lot of air. And,as you say,air flow is air flow,so the air flow through a cooler should be rated in actual flow, not in HPs worth.
  24. Saw black R33 GTS-25T heading north on the highway past Port Macquarie this morning.ASH-33R.Gave him thumbs up,and I got a wave back! Yes!!!! at last
  25. I agree.Revs has nothing to do with it,it's the flow.Another thing, when people say "they get a 400HP truck cooler, chopped to a third of its size and they still expect it to flow 400HP." Well, why wouldn't it? Take into account that most truck engines are 10L or more, and require massive amounts of air flow, compared to a 2L or 2.5L engine.
