Looking for another what? motor or turbo?? If the turbo sent bits of bearing,etc through the engine,wouldn't you at least want to pull it down and check everything? :confused:

I also use 80thou over pistons,which I bought "off the shelf" for my FJ. And Disco,what's so bad about a little noise for 10 min while forgies warm up anyway?

Disco-cheapest way I can think of would be to get some 80thou over pistons.I can't remember the bore size off the top of my head,but 80thou each pot would take it out a bit.
Not sure when the FJ's going in my thing...I had a guy offer to buy my RB20 the other day,and said he'd get back to with a price......turns out his price was $650 for the engine and harness! pfffft,no thanks!
Just found out one of my BBS rims is fcuked! :hellpisd: :cuss: so I don't really fancy turning up at the cruise with 9inch rears,and stock alloys on the front

In NSW,at least,no mechanicial protrusions (ie engine,or anything attached to it-filters,scoops,etc) are allowed past the bonnet line,unless covered by a fiberglass scoop.
Any scoops also fall under the "11m view" rule as well....
should only be a single line through it,if it's been done the normal way.... I take it it's not readable still though? If all else fails,you could try just making one up!
I have KYB's in the rear of my HR31,and they seem to be quite good.
Also had KYB's in the rear of an LJ Torana many years ago,and also had no complaints.
