    Reason is I put a nice big scratch down the side which I'm pissed at myself about, so the car needs painting, so was thinking since it needs doing I might as well put on the better looking s2 front. Most kits just don't look right without skirts and everything else done too, plus the car is stock.

    Hi people, just wondering what parts are required to put a S2 front onto a S1 R33. Guessing it's Bonnet, Grill, Headlights, front bar, front indicators. Anything else? Bonnet latch? Reo bar?

    How much was R33 GT-R when it first came out? *waits for 10 years time when R35 is affordable*

    Possible to get dimensions? or comparison next to a stocko R33 cooler, or even a R34 cooler? Very keen, quote on postage to Perth 6066 would be good

    Don't know about in your state, but in WA the block cannot be older than the chassis, so unless its a s1 r33 shell, and a really late rb20, then no, it's not legal.

    They are essentially the same car, everything mechanical is interchangable. Dash, doors, seats are the same.

    This is a good idea and one reason why I was considering getting a FMIC, but then you have to remember that it would block some flow to the radiator = higher water temps, which is never a good thing in the middle of summer. Personally I'd just go the r34 cooler if you just want to keep the intake temps lower during the summer heat.

    D/w have my answer now, they are 17"s, not 16"s like the 32 and 33 have.

    Yeah mine the plates are held on by the screws that require an allen key to undo, the guy who had it before me had custom plates on it.

    Not at the car atm, but pretty sure it says Clarion on the side, guessing it was a factory option R33 one, as apart from the one brand sticker, everything else on it just says Nissan, will be able to tell you for sure later. Will only decks from that brand work with the stacker?

    Instead of making a new thread, thought I'd post here, looking for a h/u as well, nothing fancy really, what I want it to have is: - Front aux-in - Plays MP3 - CD-changer control (if it will work with factory nissan stacker) I don't intend to get subs or anything because I like my boot space, and it's only going to running some speakers off the h/u. Obviously I'm not looking for fancy, or expensive

    Just wondering if R34 GT-T rims are the same size as R32 and 33 GTS-T ones? And the same size tyres? Or what size tyres would I need?

    First would be get a rb20 box if they are different and get the diff sorted For the turbo a high-flowed rb20 or rb25 turbo would be good, let you run lots of boost and without big lag, just find a blown one on here and take it to get high flowed. An SAFC and tune would also help in the short-term if you can't afford the turbo.

    Pics of the GT-T rims? any scratches/gutter rash? And do they come with centre caps?
