  1. If you're using the RB20DET gearbox, then gearbox ratio is the same as r32 gts-t.
  2. I have to agree with the R34 guys, the 34 looks better. The back end is pretty tall, noticed on a SAU cruise, but I'd still love one. That said, I think the R33/4 hybrid looks awesome, and is something different at least. Would like to see pics of one without the wide guards though.
  3. Manual conversion would be a good start, g/box is more like $500, the rest of the bits are easy enough to get through the 31 club. As for snorkel, an R33 one is a lot bigger and would be an upgrade, but always good to have the extra flow from an additional hole for air to enter the air box through. And don't listen to anyone who bags out the good old 31 or tells you not to waste money on them. I've had a few of them and they really are awesome cars, cheap fun, and tough as, very hard to kill and last forever. If the car makes you happy, that's what matters.
  4. If it's manual the 2.5" should be good, mufflers just depends on how quiet/loud you want it to be. Mufflers will be the biggest factor in cost of the exhaust, though you should be able to find extractors and a cat-back cheap 2nd hand on the r31 club. Panel filter is as you guessed, a filter for the stock airbox. If you get a good flowing one and cut a hole in the front of the airbox to let more cold air flow into it, it'll be better than simply chucking on a pod as sooo many people do. If you just put on a pod without a good airbox setup, then you will just be sucking in hot air, and in most states it's a defect anyway. 25 head is simply not worth it unless you can do all the work yourself and manage to get the bits cheap. RB30DE is cool, but staying n/a the bang for your buck just isn't worth it IMO. Advance timing costs you as much as a timing light, again worth reading up on it in the tech section of R31SC. Or darkhalf on the club sells remaped ECU's for around $110 plus send back your stock ecu to him, which as everyone on the club will agree are well worth the money. After that things get expensive and not really worth it. Things like twin cam conversion, or just getting a nicely upgraded cam, aftermarket ECU etc...
  5. Good panel filter, chop a hole into the front of your airbox, exhaust, extractors, advance timing... visit the forums at r31skylineclub.com for more, great bunch of people and very helpful website for R31 information.
  6. Still around? Keen.
  7. Looks good, personally think it'd be better if the bonnet was the same as the rest of the car
  8. Will the actuators fit onto an RB25 turbo? How much boost are they running? and willing to separate them?
  9. Mine's mostly city driving, range from 13-14.5L/100km depending on conditions, driving style, tyre pressures, etc. Still going to change o2 sensor and see if that improves it a bit more, it's not excessive atm, but with the way it is driven most of the time I think it could be a bit better. Oh and it's a bog stock manual R33 GTST.
  10. How much for the other GTR bov? Delivered to WA 6066?
  11. If you're planning to do quite a bit to it (which it sounds like you want to), get one in reasonable condition with as many mods as you can get. If you're planning to just do the basics like cooler, exhaust and pod, find a nice clean stocker.
  12. Yeah that's cool, that's what I'm looking for, just ripped off my S1 wing. If it takes a while for the shipping, just send me a pm, no rush really, just looks kinda bunkyish with no wing and tape over the holes.
  13. Postage on it to Perth? If it's not too much I'm keen. What's the paint condition like? Better pics in the sun light?
  14. Close-ups on the steering wheel? Any wear?
  15. KPGC10 Skyline GT-R (Shed warrior) R31 SVD Silhouette GTS2 (Had one and would love another, keep the KPGC10 company) R35 GT-R (Track car) JZX100 Tourer V (Pimp Daily) S14.5 Silvia (Sideways Car)
  16. Tried pushing it, it just bends a bit and won't go down. Will try it as the motors going down though and see if that does it. If it's down and the motor's unplugged, but aerial is still plugged in, you should still get reception.
  17. If it's stuck in the up position, how do you force it to go down without snapping it? I'd be happy if mine was down and stayed down, but it's stuck up and just looks stupid.

  19. Where in WA can you get an eye-level brake light that is needed for compliance on cars that are imported but don't have one? Removed my spoiler, so need to get one on the car now.
  20. Ah cool, cheers, wasn't sure.
  21. Pretty sure it means timing belt has been done in Japan, but can someone verify this? Or tell me exactly what it says? Sorry about the size, don't have anything that can resize pics on this computer.
  22. If you need to take it off and on over the next couple of days, just cable tie it in place temporarily. Will make it easy to take it off, and no hassle from cops for no front bar.

  24. Bottom left one appears to have gutter scrapes on the bottom right hand corner of the rim
