  1. Yeah, agreed Thought that reading through most of this thread.
  2. Just got back from going to Morley to get a couple of things and saw this. If I had seen it earlier would have stopped in to say Hi
  3. Spotted a white S2 Stagea with a Dayz kit parked at Morley Maccas this evening, about 5. d1_drifter?
  4. They look like the track edition wheels? So should be 18x8 +30
  5. HI guys, I'm in WA and chasing the following: Rear Bumper Side Skirts Auto Park Brake pedal assembly Snorkel for stock air box
  6. Got my S1 in May this year (got it the night before my daughter was born, she came when I had the car about 6 hours ), had ~175,000kms on it
  7. Hi mate, still got these? Am keen on the one in the middle on the right column, or if you don't have that the one under it.
  8. Yeah, general concensus seems to be the stock turbo is good for ~12psi, some say 14 though.
  9. GTS4 comes with ATTESSA AWD out of the GT-R; all GTS4 have the AWD, otherwise it'd just be a GTS. Most Skylines have HICAS (4 Wheel Steer), pretty sure was standard on all but the most povo-spec ones.
  10. Engine out?
  11. Spotted a red S2 Stagea with a 260RS kit and lowered on R34 GTR rims at the corner of Collier Rd and Braun Ave Then a silver S1 Stagea with dark grey/black rims parked outside Ming Dynasty Chinese Restraunt in Morley.
  12. Stagea brakes aren't any bigger than n/a R33 really, and they are a much heavier car, and come factory with the turbo engine, haven't had a problem thus far in every day driving? I don't see how power has any effect on braking, unless you're using the power to get to a higher speed than you otherwise would.
  13. Wish someone told me this when I had mine, blood banks charge a fortune for the stuff, it's getting quite rare these days.
  14. Legalities aside, it still probably has better stopping power than your average commo on the streets, so if you're just driving sensibly there isn't an issue. You just have to adjust your braking style to compensate for the power of your brakes (ie: brake a bit earlier and be a bit more aware of your surroundings). The only danger really is if you're being a twat. Sure, researching helps, but everyone starts the learning process somewhere, and could have done worse. On the legal side, I can't comment about other states, but in WA, so long as the car's neat and looks pretty well stock, if you have the right attitude to a cop, they aren't going to know that it's not a factory turbo, they'll just think it's a GTST.
  15. Yeah, as long as you're happy with the car, that's what counts. If it's not a genuine GTS25t, just have to keep in mind the gearbox might not be that strong for the turbo motor, and might want to consider a brake upgrade to GTST ones in the future, depends how you drive. Bigger brakes are always good, but if you take it easy then you should be alright, but if you push it a bit, then you'll want the upgrade.
  16. Nice attitude to make people want to stay and learn. As for why buy an n/a and convert to turbo, could be a few different reasons. Maybe couldn't afford a turbo model at the time of buying the car, and turbo'd it later on when they could. Could have got it on P's where turbo isn't legal, and converted once they were off P's. Or maybe they/a friend had the turbo gear/engine around cheaply, and they decided to just get an n/a and dump that in there.
  17. Just taking a guess here, but I'm sure they come with a good LSD, and any sort of aftermarket tuning would void your warranty, since you're messing with the ECU from the factory settings.
  18. I could be wrong, but I thought the difference in the taillights was sedan had one style and coupe had another (think coupe is in the brake light).
  19. Pod filter = easy as. Unbolt air box, bolt your pod with adaptor up to the AFM. If you're still interested in my HKS one, shouldn't be a problem to help you chuck it on. Screamer pipe, never done so can't comment.
  20. Gave mine a good wash and polish this afternoon. I'm slack and not one to wash my car often, let alone go to the effort of polishing it, so to me this is worth a mention
  21. If it's the standard Dayz type ones, mine has a switch on the dash to change between fog and spot lights, and the fog light switch on the lights stalk operates them.
  22. Nice looking Stagea, good to see another one in the WA section of the club, even better that it's a manual one.
  23. What's wrong with your standard tacho? Try the tech section on r31skylineclub.com, it's full of useful info, you might even find info for something pointless like a monster tacho.
