  1. I'll see your CA18I and raise you a CA18S.
  2. Yeah, I'd be down for some sway bars pending prices.
  3. So everyone knows, I got a cheap one off ebay for an R33 GTST and it fitted straight up with no mods at all required: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370447688978&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:AU:1123 So it might just have been the type you had chuckie.
  4. Fitted up a brake master cylinder stopper this morning before I left for work. Was just a cheapy off eBay for a 33 GTST, but fitted up with no modification and am suprised at the difference it's made to pedal feel.
  5. What's wrong with standard plates?
  6. It's got a brake light, so they probably wouldn't worry too much about it. If that's your car behind it in one of the pics, I wouldn't worry too much about putting it on, doubt it'd attract any more attention than otherwise with the kit and front mount.
  7. You could palm that off to most cops as a regular GTR wing and they wouldn't know the difference. Got any pics on a car? Looking at those I think you'd be pretty unlucky to get pinged for it.
  8. In the way of wings, I thought the rules were it can't be too tall (height of roof) or too wide (width of A-pillars), and from memory aluminium ones are illegal, period.
  9. Again, not Chicken Schnitzel, but for Jap, I try to go to Momiji Japanese in Belmont. Doesn't look much, but huge feeds at a good price, and taste great.
  10. Had a dark blue 4-door R32 with white wheels behind me on Grey St in Bassendean, probably about 6:45 this morning.
  11. Can't confirm, but I'd imagine the differences would be the same as the turbo motor's.
  12. Any chance there's a spare cargo blind in that stash?
  13. Cable ties = permanent fix
  14. That was me, saw you leaving as we were coming back to the car. Yeah, it sits way too high Yours looks and sounds very nice
  15. Yellow S2 Stagea on Tonkin Hwy just after 5. Chuckie?
  16. Is your RS4 manual? AFAIK the manual's have the same shock bottom on the rear as a GTR (Fork-type), whereas Autos have GTST type shock mount (eyelet-type). My understanding of this thread is that R33 GTR front will be fine, but both R33 rears have wrong valving. Justjap list them specific for a Stagea with both Eyelet and Fork type rears. Pretty easy to tell what you need if you poke your head under the back of the car and take a look at the bottom of the shock.
  17. Concrete pill to harden up is needed. I love it when I'm outside doing things with the car and our cats are curious and want to come over and curl up on/in the car. They are attracted to the warmth coming off the car, especially in winter. If it's really an issue for you buy a car cover, pretty simple. Or go with drsplodge's idea.
  18. A white S2 Stagea (Dayz kit I think it was) at Morley Galleria undercover about 9 this morning.
  19. Yeah sounds like you're just giving it too much. Only time I ever had similar in my old 33 was when I had bald tyres, with good tyres you should be able to just take it easy and slip the clutch a little.
  20. Was excited for this at first, but that's dropped off over time. IMO Oblivion wasn't that great, nothing on TES3: Morrowind to me. Will buy it regardless though, hopefully without the need to sign in all the time and download a million updates to play.
  21. Yeah, I'd go the Ford. Neither are v8, but up until recently I had a VT daily, had problem after problem until I got rid of it for the Stagea. Meanwhile my parents have an AU similar age, far more km's, they go away lots, barely ever gets serviced close to on time, and has never missed a beat. Both are boats, but the AU has a lot more torque and a lot nicer to drive.
  22. It's not legal to have the car stay running when they key is out and you exit the car, so they're right. That's why when you go to the pits you just turn it off and stash it out of sight.
  23. Yeah, my first turbo car (180) had one when I got it, but haven't bothered with one in any other cars since. Just drive nicely and off boost for the last couple of minutes before you stop, and then you should be safe. I got into the habit of doing that when I was living at home with the olds, had a really loud exhaust on my 33 and went out cruising late-night, didn't want to annoy the neighbourhood by leaving it idling away in the middle of the night. If you really want it though, any decent auto electrician shouldn't have any problems doing it.
