i was looking for your r32 too Andrew. but i couldnt see it either. prolly hidden behind the vans somewhere!

i went down too in my lunch hour. left the binoculars at home (f@#ken tool). saw a few gtr lookers but it was impossible to tell the colour with that glare. Ill be back tomorrow maybe , with the binoculars.

I spent about 20 minutes trying to find the best spot. turns out it is infront of the bus stop. why didnt i just go there first? Jonn I didnt see any grey gtrs, i was a but disapointed! I was happy to see no thrashing of the cars too! Thaat made me happy!

Gotboost, i dont think you are the only 32 gtst, i know of at least one other. sorry didnt mean to ruin the party. The list you have may just be cars that made it on the boat from the one supplier. I think i received a similar list from Mark Shumann. nonetheless all our rides are finally here!!

I have mised three boats into freo from Kawasaki. Theres only one per month and spoke to the supply yesterday and he couldnt let me know for certain if it would get on the next boat. After waiting months for my vehicle to turn 15 it's turned into a very long process.

I am interested to find out what mechanics you guys have used and how they rated? And do you all use mechanics which have dynos onsite? Cheers!

I doubt whether shipping is returning to normal just yet. Found out from geoff today that only 3 cars got onto the ship bound for fremantle. Not a single car got on from kawasaki, so that means more waiting for me.

Consider yourself lucky you got on the boat Chrisroi. I'm sure there are many people that didn't. I still haven't heard from Geoff regarding shipping of my baby. Considering the boat is due to arrive on saturday I am slightly pissed that it has taken him this long. Anyway storage fees suck! Hope your baby arrives in mint condition!

Does anyone else have the r32 workshop manual? It states compression pressure as 12kg/cm2 at 300rpm (i figure it may be a typo? 3000rpm?) for rb26dett.

Could the GRID computer you mentioned be a torque splitter?

Yeah I need to get a pair soon. Don't know if my car made it onto the December ship so not sure when it'll be here, but i will need to get a pair, and that sounds like a good deal.

cheers for that blacky. Just a few quetions for anyone in the know, Q1:with the child restraint attachments, does each rear seat need it's own attachment or do you just need one for the one seat? Q2: the a/c controls in my r32 have been moved to the dash in front of the passenger seat, does anyone know if this would need to be moved back to stock position?

Has anyone considered shipping in a container? I know it is a bit more expensive (not so expensive if you share one) but it takes out the uncertainty of missing more boats. As there is only one boat to fremantle each month I am very tempted to go the container option asap. Has anyone had any experience with shipping there cars in containers?

Hey Blacky, Who are you importing with? Geoff from Prestige has told me that there is only one boat to freo each month from japan (leaving around the 28th of each month). Apparently last month only 5 of about 70 privately imported vehicles made it onto the ship. Due to large numbers of new cars filling most of the spots. My car is due to leave japan this month but I will be surprised if it gets on. Is your car on a boat now? If so can i ask you what boat it's on and when it left? cheers.

Use BitTorrent and search for Nissan_Manuals. It is a file which contains R32, R33 and s13-15 silvia workshop manuals. R32 manual contains ca18i, rb20d, rb20de, rb20det, rb25de and rb26dett. 580 pages in english. There is a link to it on SAU somewhere, shouldn't be too hard to find.

Driftt, Can you tell me what WA specifically requires for eng certificate, not including what Danooh has mentioned? ie. do we need leaded fuel restrictor, flat drivers mirror...etc Also do you know where i can get in touch with an engineer (in WA) that would be willing to sign off on work that I'll do myself?

I know it has already been asked. But does anyone know if the wire colours are the same for the R32?
