It sounds just like a kookaburra. no joke, i know it sounds weird and funny but it sounds just like it and goes for like 2-3 seconds...even whe im just idling at the lights waiting...it sometimes goes off again....its definately near the turbo area....

was really looking for front ones...but how much for the rear ones? u have pics of them?

Just wondering if anyone knows or has any ideas about this loud whistling noise that goes on for 2 secs straight after my car has turned off.... i try hearing where it comes from and its definately near the turbo/manifold/compressor area....was thinking it might be the bearings....but my t28 turbo runs perfectly and boosts up properly and even on high boost....

as i said i was just wondering why my car takes a while to boost up coz off the start my bros mx6 is already ahead by a car length and a bit but once i hit 2nd gear i catch up to him and pass him and thats on stock boost....i was just wondering why it was so sluggish off the start...and yeah when i give it it sometimes jerks while boosting up...also once i flick the boost switch a huge black pile of smoke comes out and after the exhaust is full of fumes...i was told it was the mines computer as it runs rich fuel and the a/f ration is off...so yeah off to the dyno, so is it a must to change the mines computer? or can that e re-tuned? with my turbo it definately aint the stock one ...i can see the writing on it saying "GARRETT" and is bigger size than the stock ones....and yeah i have no front mount intercooler.... well at the moment im on a bit of a tight budget as yeah i have just only bought the car.... so what do u think i can do for the meantime? can the mines computer be re-mapped at all so it will fix the a/f ratio and the idling problems? my friend owns a my01 wrx and he got an apexi computer which handles boost, a/f ratio and sits in his car ...will that help at all?

Hey guys thanks for the feedback....yeah on low boost my boost is on like 10psi-12 it keeps changing but yeah on the end of 2nd gear i catch up to my brothers mx6 ...its just seems a bit sluggish off the mark...well the mx6 was my car previously so it aint the driver...my car has a dump pioe, it has the full exhaust from turbo to the back ... as with my car i only bought it 2 weeks ago with all these mods on it already so thats why i dont know much about the r32 gtst... i just knew the power rating on it was alot bigger than an mx6 so i was worried why it was so slow on low revs and off the mark...once i flick the high boost the car kicks arse but yeah sometimes the boost cuts off. i know i have to dyno tune the car as i was told becasue it has a mines computer. just thought id get some info before i do just in case... with the size of my gt 28 turbo i dont know the exact size as yeah i bought it off a dealer just 2 weeks ago and i dont know how to check what size gt 28 it is... with the a/f rating i have a guage in my car but it runs crazy and all over the place like when the car is idling the a/f ration reads at high rich sometimes and then on low revs its on stoich(mid level) but yeah when i really give it its on very rich again.....but sometimes when the car jerks around when im climbing the revs it goes all over the place.... you guys know of any places to dyno tune my car? how much do u think it will cost? i dont know much about this tuning stuff so what is involved in this whole tun process? many thanks guys for the input.......

just wondering is it normal for an r32 gtst to be slow in low revs? or should i get my car tuned? I have a mines computer and a gt28 turbo, 3 inch piping boost control, high boost set to 18-20 psi, air filter pod , fuel regulator and my brothers mx6 turbo beats me 0-100km/h how embarrasing....with the mods i have i would of thought i would have at least 150 kwrw and just whip my brothers mx6....please help....!!!

I have an r32 gts-t , i just bought the car 2 weeks ago and my first test drive on it was sweet. but once i actually got the car it just seemed really sluggish especiialy at low revs and first and 2nd gear.... i was told the mods on the car wasa gt28 turbo, fuel regulator, mines computer, boost controller, high boost set on 18-20 psi.....someimtes when i give it heaps the car jerks around alot and is very sluggin in low revs as in very slow... i was told its the mines computer coz it runs very rich fuel and is designed for japanese fuel only....does anyone know how to help me please?
