Hks Gt2835 Pro S With Kinugawa Exhaust Housing?
Guilt-Toy replied to R31 POWER's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
a friend of mine got one for his gt35r and it looks pretty good, he said the exhaust wheel just just touches inside and it needs MINIMAL machining. still worth buying for the gains you get for going to a small housing imo. -
i do remote tunes, you buy the gear and we will get your car sorted over a 3g connection. here is one i was doing a while ago. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/229894-tuning-fc-over-the-sea/page-3?hl=%2Bsea+%2Btuning#entry4845501 pm me for more details.

R33 Gtst - Getting Ready To Tune & Want Some Advice
Guilt-Toy replied to GeeDog's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
my honest opinion to you would be to get a high flow turbo and a set if injectors and tune the car properly with the ecu and boost controller that you currently have. you cannot use the stock solinoid, they can be used on a aftermarket ecu but not with a nistune but you have your aftermarket boost controller available anyway. e85 is not going to do you much good this early imho. I suggest a set of 740cc + injectors so LATER you can always do the switch to e85 without replacing them. Doing the highflow and injector upgrade (make sure the fuel pump is good enough, a walbro 255lph should be enough) should net you around 250kw at the wheels which is a decent amount of power and lots of room to improve if you go to e85 later if it is required. you CAN skip the injector upgrade and tune the car to around 230 235 rwkw which might be all you are looking for anyway? I would go for this option because you will get more power with a high flow on pump gas then you will with a stock turbo on e85, also the stock turbo on r33's are getting pretty old these days and it could grenade at any time. good luck -
yeah his cat designs all his stuff. he was asking me to post it up on here last night... was going to wait until its all up and running... he will be making them for sale as well.

High Idle And Next To No Vacuum Built Rb25Det
Guilt-Toy replied to skygtsnt's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i would be checking for leaks again. but use an air compressor this time. i was chasing issues and found 2 leaks after pushing over 10psi pressure into the engine. works a treat. -
nothing wrong with precision pistons. i had them in my engine for a few months and i loved them. i pushed them to 310rwkw with the crome molly rings without an issue. the engine was rebuilt and forged for reasons other then piston/ring failure. i would use them again.

An Alternative Ecu Choice Worth Considering.
Guilt-Toy replied to Guilt-Toy's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I accidently ripped out the usb plug from the ecu board and damaged it. I contacted adaptronic and he offered to send out a replacement top board in advance to get me up and running... it appears that getting the car back on track was more or a concern to them, no hard warranty claim procedures or its your fault or my fault bullshit that you would normally expect, i even told them i personally broke it... cannot believe it. -
An Alternative Ecu Choice Worth Considering.
Guilt-Toy replied to Guilt-Toy's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
there will not be a base map on the 420, because its a generic wire in ecu and can be installed on any engine. However when making your order you can tell them what engine you are running and they can email you a base file for that specific engine. I find that Andy has a start file that can start pretty much anything, and the times that he did not have a file he made one for me within a day or so. even if the trigger mode is not supported he can make a quick firmware upgrade for you quickly as well!! The support is great. the guy is the ecu professor, you don't have to worry about base files when buying an adaptronic. -

Boost Lost After Changing The Air Filter
Guilt-Toy replied to Alfred Y's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
i have seen air filters be sooo restrictive that it changes the boost. remove the air filter and see if the boost goes back up again. if it does then bin that filter. here is on example where i saw it, check it out for a laugh.. pretty funny shit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwLySsnNXU0&feature=c4-overview&list=UUOWImYitZYj1CYED1KDhrWQ -
Water/water Meth Vs High Ethanol Content Juice .
Guilt-Toy replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
he is right... the system is not something that you really want to lean on to ensure your engine does not destroy itself. it does not take much for it to fail without you knowing. I always do a test while on the dyno with wmi systems to make sure the system is working and i explain to every customer how important the system is for the life of their engine and how to keep the system running and how to test it also. If you are on the ball you should be able to notice the system has failed on how the engine runs / sounds without it working. -

Water/water Meth Vs High Ethanol Content Juice .
Guilt-Toy replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
funny you brought this up, since i have been back and toyin with my new 33 gtst Guilt-Toy 2.0 i have been thinking about ways of saving some cash at the pump as my arse gets really sore being raped for 5 times the price of fuel of what i am used to. I was thinking of going for a e10 mix with water injection only, skip the alcohol so its easier to run in a street car, every servo sells bottled water.... I have no doubt that a e10 mix with water injection will exceed the performance of 98 octane, and from the results i have seen with some of the monsters i have tuned over seas with m1 methanol and water with 98 octane pump gas i have tuned turbo 6's to over 1000hp at the wheels, a methanol mix will push you even further. I am building 2.0 to be a very mild street car, standard manifolds and a hks 2535 turbo, 850cc injectors incase i decide to use flex with the adaptronic, at the moment i been a bit busy with other people's cars then to finish mine in a hurry but its getting there slowly. I will start with getting the car running properly with 98 then sourcing a meth kit, because i have an adaptronic i can use a aux output to trigger it so the kit price will be cheaper, only need some hoses a pump and a solenoid and the jets and holder, maybe we can do some kind of group buy. -
microtech sucks compared to the ecu's out today.... but you cannot forget back in the day they were miles infront of the rest
