  1. Why bother putting the SMIC on then ? If your already defected and you cannot get a booking to the RTA for emissions test for a few months then ring them and tell them that you have to wait for the test to pass. They will extend your defect notice so your cars rego wont get cancelled. Leave the FMIC on and go and get your noise test. Buy a piece of 2mm steel plate, get a cat gasket from your local exaust shop. Remember tracing things at school? get a artliner. Trace the WHOLE gasket, the bolt holes the outside the inside hole the lot. Now get some tin snips and cut the outside and drill the holes for the bolts, get a drill and drill multiple 10mm holes in the hole in the middle so it restricts your flow. Make _TWO_ of these and stick one at the front and one at the back of the cat. Go get your noise test then remove it. YES this works. For the emissions test, if you want to pass we can test your car on a 5gas system in Newcastle on a dyno and i can do dummy IM240 tests on the dyno to see if it is going to pass (Yes we have IM240 testing in Newcastle now) but its only for a guide and for tuning purposes only. So yeah if you need any assistance let me know and I can look at getting your car passed for a engineers certificate. Send me a PM and il shoot you my number cheers
  2. This was the first emanage ive done, could not believe how well they work and was sooo much easier to tune then anything else ive ever played with. The Emanage is sooo underrated its not funny. I am definatly a fan of them after having a play with one and seeing how well it works.. and it was only a Blue tuned on the street, doing another one on a Dyno this weekend which will be easier again. so yeah a big thumbs up for the emanage! will have to recomend them in the future
  3. First pic was of the 11.3 second run
  4. Yeah dude, nothing against you personally at all! and that manifold.. if there was a way i could have sex with it... I would. F ME
  5. You wont get side feed injectors bigger then 740cc i seriously doubt it. Running E85 is the only reason why you would need 1000cc injectors. If you need 1000cc injectors then get some Siemens or Bosch ones which are pretty damn cheap and run a custom rail. I have 374rwkw max on 740cc injectors running at 80ish % duty on pump gas. Get some Nismo 555cc injectors and your fine for 300rwkw 740 is good as well but no need for anything bigger
  6. Lol mate.. Let me quote a part of the ebay addy... note the "sickening" "wicked" fully sick lingo lol Id rather a 6 boost though. "Genuine Blitz K3T-3070 turbo kit - perfectly matched to the RB engine delivering sickening performance and power around the 450hp level. A wicked looking set-up too with the external wastegate high-mounted and on display under the hood. With a bit of polish, this set-up would scrub up nicely. KKK (the manufacturer of Blitz turbos) produce turbos for Porsche and Audi and some of Japan’s fastest competition cars run Blitz/KKK turbos, including the infamous Blitz R34 GTR."
  7. How is it a work of art? Ebay Number: 170244928833 I think the guys woglish is a work of art if anything
  8. Have a look at how frustrated i got when i was chasing oil leaks with my Just Jap kit. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/fi...t-p3955122.html There kits are only good when you put all the fittings into a lave and machine them down to a flat surface and use copper washers to seal NOT THE SILLY ASS GHEY O RINGS THAT THEY USE THAT LEAK IN 5 MINUTES!!! GRRRRR!!!!!!! I wanted to burn the car i was that pissed off. even thinking about it now... i should have spent the extra $500 and got a decent kit.
  9. for those who contact me on MSN, when you message me please stay online for at least 15 minutes afterwards sometimes i am busy or do not get to my computer for a little while later. 10. He will just have to do power runs and drive the car on the dyno.
  11. I changed my thermostat with the 76deg one John at UAS suggested, he said he would stand on his head if it didnt fix the problem. Looks like I aint going to go take a pic of him standing on his head, fixed my issue too. the rubber was breaking off and letting water through which was not allowing it to warm up. before would never go above 65deg now its on 81 again
  12. Made 274rwkw on 16psi on saturday, he nearly came unstuck the already so no more power for Mr Stocko untill he can learn to drive the extra power properly
  13. Your the guy in Canada? You need a wide band air fuel ratio meter that has a 0 - 5v wideband output, and you need a datalogit to interface with the power fc, then a laptop and a good internet connection. If the car is on a dyno then you can use the workshops internet connection if you dont have a dyno there then you need a fast mobile phone connection to your laptop (3G seems to work OK) let me know if you have anymore questions, i can PM you my phone number if you wish
  14. 380rwkw from my q45 afm, but it maxed out about 50kw ago
  15. What will normally happen is the hand controller will lose the battle for bandwidth and stop logging and the laptop will get all the info. if it read 100 then it hit 100, the readings wont change it just might not pick it up. just cos it does not knock on the dyno it can knock on the road.
  16. ring john at UAS and he can sell you one for $50 www.gtr.com.au i got one in the car, i think it has part number on it if you get stuck
  17. you need to tune it man, do not compare with another tune or you could destroy your engine. Take it to a tuner that can tune power fc's
  18. hmmm was yours tuned?
  19. a handfull of boost is a good amount of boost
  20. you serious?? i had a big arguement with john at UAS saying i need a hotter thermostat since i got the new radiator and he wouldnt let me buy one, he made me get a stock one cos he said my thermostat must be blocked open as well. If this thermostat dont fix the problem then i am going to make him stand on his head like he promised and send me the hotter one
  21. where are you ?
  22. Yes. It will cost you about $2500 or more to rebuild your engine with new pistons and put it back in. If your going to keep the engine standard without forgies your only choice is to buy a second hand bottom end, i saw one in the for sale section for about $300 get your mechanic to pull the old engine out take the head out and put it on the new block and off you go, total cost about $1200 - $1500
  23. they all do this. you need to brace the external gate pipe to the runner pipe, mine has 2 chunky braces on it and it has not cracked in ages.
  24. the emanage blue was easy as piss to tune
