  4. Thanks for the comments guys I have been lucky because i have access to 2 dyno's anytime i want, and i know a few people who own workshops and its easy for me to get access to pretty much anything i need.. i am a IT tech not a mechanic. So yeah i would like to thank Turbotechnics & Hunter All Wheel Dyno for the use of their workshops when needed. Such good mates to have. There is no way i would have been anywhere near ready to go to the track and make this happen without Anthony & Wayne. Wayne from adnum automotive (hunter all wheel dyno) helped me with a few emergency repaires i needed just as i was about to put the car on the tow truck to get it towed he droped everything and helped me with what i needed to get it fixed. Anthony @ Turbotechnics is a good mate of mine as well and back in the day we used to bounce ideas off each other, now he helps me when i get stuck with my car as this is the first high powered car i have tuned till about a month or so ago i did i couple others. And then there is my mate Disco Dave, he is the man when it comes to working on cars, he can pretty much remove the engine from my car and have it on a engine stand in 90 minutes ready to fix whatever needs to be done.. have had this engine out a few times and i would not have been able to do it without him! Also Riskin, Brad from Autosport, he helped me overcome a major hurdle that I have been stuck on for months with my car, the best thing about his help was that he just gave me encouragement to keep heading in the direction i was going and not let failure to fix the problem let me down, i think he know i was soo close to working it out that he wanted me to to go at it myself, so yeah brad cheers for your help too! So yeah i would like to give credit where credit is due, there would be more people who have helped me along the way but they all know its well appreaciated!
  5. I like it. Don't listen to anyone else. Its looks pretty cool
  6. Here is some info on when i blew the old turbo, it was a .82 last year, blew the turbo and got a new one and swapped the .82 housing for a 1.06 http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Qu...-s-t207980.html Pics from old thread
  7. Only slow street cars race at WSID. I will not continue any type of drag racing. I will get into drift
  8. plugs will fix it. reason being is that because the cooler pipe popps off no air goes to the engine and the injector is letting in heaps of fuel with fowles the plugs.
  9. Stock dif, Just jap G4 coil overs all round (hard as fark) with some stock suspension things will be different
  10. Yes... i should be able to get a 1.6 60 foot which will see me do a 10. but i need different suspension first 3 litre with stock cams and stock rb25 head. DEAD STOCK. Yes normal weight, had back seats in it and floor mats in it. Lots of people are eating their own words mate.. its all good. i knew what the car had because i was driving it around and was terrified with that power on the street Cheers mate, its been a long time comming, i just had to wait till everything was right before i took it to the track. Yes it would upset them, but i would need a 1.2 60 foot to get a 9 and that is not going to happen... maybe with the water meth injection kit switched on, but i dont need to do a 9.. i just want a 10 at the time of the race it still had the emissions tune in it, but it had a screamer pipe and a race pipe (no cat) and the catch can was vented to atmo, 15 mins worth of mods would see it back to emissions compliant. Remember this car gets over 400ks to a tank of fuel as well So yeah not bad for a car that i did mostly myself (bar the fabrication work) thanks for the comments guys, il go back down very soon.
  11. are any of these fuel stations selling this stuff near ryde? lol i might try it
  12. no wonder you guys have not been answering my phone calls all morning. I will stop ringing A robery this big, there is no way they will get away with it. They will come unstuck and make one mistake to get caught. Thats all it takes. GL Just Jap
  13. buy a power fc before you do anything else. Do not pass go.. do not collect $200
  14. Nah i am good.. Johno has offered me a offer i cannot refuse. Thanks for the donation J'z-R33 !!!! Will go out on the 30th and go for a 10. Who's commin?
  15. Johno, i sent you PM back. cheers Nah boost controll kit did not fit my PFC i can mod the plug to fit though i have just been lazy. Yeah doof with the drag radials it didnt want to spin at all. no traction issues man it just took off... I just need to get some stock suspension and and go back
  16. Hey Guys Went to WSID on saturday, chucked some drag radials on and unfortunatly i had to leave my Just Jap G4 coil overs in which are hard as a rock when drag racing. First run 11.5 @ 129mph Second Run (turned boost down 6psi less and stuffed the start with 2.4 60 foot) 12.3 @ 126mph Third run 11.3 @ 130mph. My best 60 foot was on the third run 1.845. With some stock suspension i should see a mid 10 hopefully!! Had my big Skylinesaustralia.com sticker on the back window and was the only jap car i saw there the whole day. Power level is about 500hp at wheels on 25psi and 20psi on second run was about 420hp. Anyone got some stock suspension in sydney they can sponsor me with?
  17. PM me your email adress and il send it to you
  18. Nice power. wow 400 cubes that punches out 50 or so NM less then my 3 litre on 1.7 bar .9 bar to get that kinda force is insane.... is the wick going to be turned up at all?
  19. I have to agree, I find it much easier to tune a car on a mainline dyno then a DD dyno... The mainline seems to read the power much better as well.. Looking at the power run and checking the tune is much better on the mainline. It took me a while to get used to the mainline and i used to prefer the DD, but after a while of using the mainline and working out half the stuff it does its awesome.
  20. my stock 30 bottom end lasted 60,000km's (but was rebuilt with new rings and bearings) and i flogged the crap outta it. I pinged the shit outta it as well (learning how to tune and it lasted the time, the only thing that went wrong was it spun a bearing after using Nulon oil (never again) Also most the rings were broken but it was still making some decent power. it was 265rwkw.. was in the car about 3 years (major blow by) give it a go.. who cares if it blows up
  21. If i was you i would go see a tuner who has some chasis ears or a really good knock listening device who can check it on the dyno and the street for you. I hate knock sensors.. mine do all kinds of crazy things as well
  22. make sure it has oil in it
  23. ohhh sorry... and to give you an idea... 300rwkw should be done at about 16psi. 20psi saw me 350rwkw and 25psi saw me 380ish rwkw. This turbo is not to be sneezed at, if you only want 300rwkw get the .64 rear housing. If you want power then go the .82 or 1.06 depending how much power you want.
