a little off topic. But... this is the gear from my rb25det stock oil pump thats been on my engine. Its done 300,000km's and has had 363rwkw for the last 12 months or so... its done lots of limiter and launch controll stuff... I was putting a near crank seal because the seal broke... pulled the seal out cos i put it in crooked and the small piece fell out of the pump... So yeah all day takin the pump off while engine still in car (did not drop xmember) and pput a N1 pump in its place. Hope the N1 pump dont end up looking the same as this one!

this gauge looks really cool! its going to replace my old narrow band autometer air fuel ratio meter will install it tomorrow and put up some pics!!

no. the new datalogit works on all power fc's. if it dont the support they give will give you a configuration file to make it work.

depends on what suspension you have. with stock suspention i still had good traction at 360 rwkw. get coil overs.. bye bye traction

Cool!!! I just heard back from techedge and they are sending me a brand new cable and sending me out the gauge so i can have EGT & AFR reading at once at all times... Cannot wait to get all this setup! be interesting to see what my egt's are

spacers are the only way to go... on the xmember or on the bonned hinges

This may have been a issue in the past or maybe it was a faulty unit. Who knows, you cant let a bad experience from years ago stop you from buying the best. Otherwise we would not be driving skylines because Datsuns are rusty pieces of crap. Sell it and buy a WB02, you wont regret it! My sensor is 13 months old, and has been in my car permanantly for this time as well as being removed weekly to tune other peoples cars or check the afr's. at least 25,000km's I have had my sensor connected while being on 4 or 5 different dyno's and have checked the AFR's. If anything my sensor is faster then all the dyno's i have seen. And whoever said it had unessasry lag, how the hell would you know if you have not compared it to other systems yourself ? I am one to never listen to what anyone says about something or be skeptical untill i see it for myself. I can assure you all the wb02 is great, i just got a call from peter, he picked up that my unit had the wrong firmware, he fixed it for me and confirmed my cable is faulty. He is going to fix everything up and send it back to me the SAME day as recieving it. Id love to see any innovate product get that kind of support. Looks like now il be able to do the road tune on the 180sx on the weekend if australia post get it back to me on time!

Yeah its great. The customer service from Peter @ techedge is awesome, he is allways willing to help. He is going to help set mine up to use k-type thermocouples, i sent mine back yesterday and should get it back fully working again by the end of the week! Yeah looks like the power cable can disconnect easily which will reduce the life of the sensor very fast. WB02 is the only way to go, especially if your in australia!!

i dont even know why anyone would buy anything other then a WBO2 product from www.wbo2.com I have had mine for 13 months, i think the cable is buggard cos i run it through the door and the guy is soo good with his customers he is looking at it and replacing it for free. They can even have input for 4 EGT thormocouples. 2mb logging... its THE shit.... and they are in canberra.
