how do i confirm that its a ball bearing center? appart from it definatly feeling like one. (feels like my gt35r) so your sayin this turbo could be a GT3582r?

yeah its a piece of work. it has a plate that adapts the dump to the turbo that has allen key bolts that are flush that holds it onto the turbo. it made the power, its a bigger dump then whats on my car!

it has 71v on it and i think its 096 as well. any ideas?

Hey Guys I got this turbo that I am trying to work out what it is before i sell it.. (cannot sell it if i dont know what it is) The owner said it was a GT40 from GCG, it has no gcg plates on it. Came with a massive 4" dump pipe and it was running sard 660cc injectors which will be for sale with the turbo and was making 400ish rwhp on 15psi. Looks identical on the front as my GT35r and the rear looks to me as being a .71 rear housing off a VG30. How do i tell for sure ? what kind of turbo it is, the rear wheels is definaly steel and its definatly ball bearing core ohhh and the rear wheel looks much much bigger then stock. RB20s do have consult ports for nistune. How do i know? ive tuned 2 R32 skylines with Nistune in them. Get the consult connector from your local skyline wrecker do a search on the web and find the instructions on how to wire in the consult port manually. Or pay someone to do it for you. one of the r32s was a 89 model as well I know turbotechnics in cardiff can do this for you on 0249565466

Call nissan! i got one from them new about 2 years ago. it was around 40$ or something. Want $700 for the injectors Sard which are 660cc with collars allready installed in a RB25DET rail. all you need to do is replace the rail and your off. Will even include the clips and injector harness if you need it. No pics but they are both out of the car now. I will take one tonight. Box's still for sale! BOV still for sale...

i allways thought that you keep the gear lined up to the dot and move the cam anti clock wise 4deg....

he did not bleed the cooling system correctly and this can cause you to overheat your engine. Sometimes its best to jack the front of the car up when bleeding it. Take it back to him and suggest this.

i cant believe you would screw it in all the way to see what would happen. damn man! that would seriously do some bad ass damage to your engine! those turbotechs are savage when bringing theboost on and they work. it was probly running 25psi or something silly like that. take to get it dyno'd and check the afr's as well because you could stuff your engine otherwise. also buy some bcpr7es spark plugs and gap them to .8 before you go there.

got the bosch replacement t291 or whatever it is and it is actually the dayco 9447 belt! lol all worked out in the end !

Id swap places with them. any day of the week.... what does knowing how to tune get you ??? it dont get you laid... believe me.

I guess i was lucky when learning how to tune. My mate owns a workshop and i can use the dyno when i need it. I was allowed to hang around and help out with tunes he was doing... and even drive the cars for him while he was road tuning. I have a few mates who have been tuning cars for years before i started as back in the day (late 90's) there was not many tuners around that could tune our turbo datto's (microtech lol) so we learnt for ourself I put in many many many hours have been invested into this. Its not something that you can work out in 6 months. Good luck with it anyway.. if there is anything i can help with let me know..

Yeah its only a $2000 engine... I upgraded mine when I broke it...

If you can organise to get me a unit for 33gtst i will help you do the review on it... I am much more interested in this unit now that i know where its comming from... keep me posted on when you get me a unit.
