Wind chill might have something to do with it.... Bit like being out in the freezing cold... when the wind starts blowing at you it will feel much colder then it was without the wind.....

that price would have to be a drive in drive out with a new engine job. if you handed in a bottom end and got that built it shouldnt be more then 4k

My knock sensors go off their head for no reason as well. this is normal. just put it on the dyno and make sure its not pinging.... the tuner will have ways of checking this

I would have to agree, they are a crap computer... but the newer models seem to be doing a pretty damn good job for many cars ive seen them installed on. Tuning one is as easy as tuning a 1990's TV

Your oil level should be on the top line of the H at all times. check it and add a litre

guys this day is going to be huge, we have got 20 entrants paid in full ready to go allready and from what i am hearing there are going to be ALOT of cars turning up on the day to run. We will have to cap the car limit at 50, so you are better off pre-booking now or turn up early on the day and get your form in early otherwise we may have to turn cars down because there are only so many hours in the day!

in my old datsun fj20 days i remember some guys reporting temps of -2 deg etc etc but this was late at night in winter, freezing cold, and they were using some dodgy truck chop coolers, I had a GTR cooler on my datto and it was the best one around at the time... I want to get a air temp sensor for my rb25

I been looking around and cant make up my mind on what oil cooler to get for my RB30DET.. I dont care about the looks, i dont need fancy fittings, but i dont want it to break or leak EVER. I dont know if i should go one of the just jap $400 kits or grab one of the cheapie ones available.... anyone had any experience with both ? How many rows is good enough ? I wont be doing much track racing to start with but i will be going for a quarter mile down at WSID in the next month or so... Car has 363rwkw and im still using the stock oil cooler that rb25's have. any suggestions welcome

couldnt you get a normal computer that does both but only wire the ignition in ?

we removed it from my mates r32 when installing the FMIC as well. its sooo heavy for no gains at all. get rid of it i say. when you feel how heavy it is you will know what i mean.

my engine knocks to 80 every time i hit limiter on medium boost from 15psi to 25psi.... on 30 psi it goes off the charts... so yeah i cant wait to get this thing.. So no one knows if its a softer cut then the stock hard fuel cut ?

oh so the current one does not do ignition ? spewin.. il have mine soon.. does anyone know if this limiter shudders the crank really hard?

Is that the two step launch controll rev limiter? I did not know it does ignition retard as well... Do you know if this rev limiter shudders the crank shaft as much as the hard fuel cut ? im a bit worried about breaking something down there.....
