  1. did this diff come out of a R33 with ABS ? please PM me the details and pics. thanks
  2. I tuned a mates car 6 months ago and we put it on the dyno 2 weeks ago and made 222rwkw on 12psi.. mods were PFC Front Mount K&N Panel Filter Turbo back exhaust. stock everything else..
  3. dont do it. spend the money somewhere else. people are running 300rwkw from the standard logs.
  4. I have one of these on my car.. id never go back to a gt3540.. electric power = win.
  5. i got 740cc injectors and a 044 pump which is rated at around 800hp. I get 450km's to a tank.
  6. Yes i would They dont do too bad
  7. My car has 18's and is not lowered and i never have problems with any roads or car parks standard mspec bar ftw
  8. When you said you get very bad economy then i assumed you run it rich on cruise because otherwise you wouldnt get such bad economy. My car is actually running very rich on boost. Its running .79 - .80 's on boost and about 1.0 - 1.2 on cruise.. in afr terms thats 10.8 on boost and 15.5ish on cruise. rb25's should get good economy if tuned correctly. at a min 350km's to a tank.
  9. I dont know where you get that idea from. Why would you tune the car to be rich on cruise as well as boost? you only need to run it rich on boost and thats it. Running it rich on cruise to "save" the engine is just bullshit IMO. If anything you would have safer power if you fixed it up as your plugs are probly getting close to being fouled with fuel which will only cause issues on boost lol and could cause detonation because the fuel is not burning properly on boost??? A save running engine is a clean tune.. run it rich on boost im all for that.. but not on cruise thats just silly.
  10. NP. this boost controller works great for me.. when the spring dont get stuck but i think thats cos i am using a non standard spring for my setup. i kinda modified it a bit
  11. EXACTLY!! Let ne know how you go.. REMEMBER... You turn it in to run more boost and out to run less.. you only have to turn it less then a quarter of a turn each time to get a 3 - 5 psi boost increase. its very touchy
  12. ive confused you? ok here is a better set of instructions. Forget the red one exists. Leave it there and forget it.. Cut the green line with cutters 4 cm's down the line. Put the hose thats been cut commin from the boost pipe onto the turbotech diagram side that says "intercooler pipe" put the other hose thats been cut on the other side of the controller. Thats it
  13. if you get what i mean.. that hose you got going to the intercooler pipe (green) should be going to the wastegate actuator. double check that first. if it is then CUT the green hose and put the turbo tech so they kinda join up again but using my diagram to make sure the right one goes to the boost pipe.
  14. okay check where the red one goes.. if its on the old boost solonoid then leave it blocked. Also dont unscrew it at all. leave it. the green one with the clamp you can see is the intercooler pipe. cut that hose and put it inbetween the one hose.
  15. :laughing-smiley-014: Enjoy mate.
  16. i decided to make it easy for you.. i drew this up
  17. okay its simple. See how you got the screw ? and it screws in ? the hose from your boost pipe goes to the one that will push air against it and the other one goes back to the wastegate actuator. if you cant work it out PM me and give me your phone number and il call you and explain it to you
  18. you cant get a f-con tuned anywhere but sydney or perth.
  19. stock computer can get economy but not as good as a PFC. try a HKS F-CON and get it tuned in sydney
  20. It goes like this. you take it to a workshop where they are going to tune your car for you for $150 - $250 then your going to get shit fuel economy. You get what you pay for. Pay shit money and no time spent on it and get a shit tune. I have fixed cruise maps on power fc's from various workshops. The workshop is not paying the fuel bill are they ? why do they care?? they dont give you a print out of your fuel economy with their business name on it they give you a power print out and most of the people are "gees thanks man thats great power thanks for doing such a great job on my car" lol makes me laugh...
  21. YES. the cruise maps are in a completly different area to the boost power maps and you CAN have the best of both worlds. Its just that people ring up all the dyno tuners and find the CHEAPEST tune they can drive there car in there with a new unmapped power FC get a few power runs get the max power the can in 30 minutes to an hour then pay there $250 for their tune and drive away with really bad cruise maps. When i tune a car i spend more time on cruise then i spend on boost. I like my cars to have good fuel economy and driveability as i tune them like i tune my own car. Its the difference between a $200 tune and a $800 tune. You pay $800 for a tune from UAS because the TUNE THE CAR. Not only just boost the car up to make it fun to drive. Thats all there is to it. Also driving habbits have alot to do with it. sometimes on my drive home (60km's) i dont go over 10% injector duty.
  22. When you know how to tune your own car and you tune it "right" you get good economy.
  23. 363rwkw and 450 to 500km's a tank if i do NORMAL driving. If i boost it often then it all goes out the window.
  24. BD4's & SAS in sydney are the only HKS F-con tuners that i know of. So yeah i dont know if anyone else has the software yet.
  25. what plenum does it have? and what fuel pressure reg? have you checked for irregular fuel pressure? take pics of the plenum and post it
