  2. Sounds like the car needs a retune. if you are in sydney take it to UAS in castle hill - they will sort it out and tell what and what you dont need straight out with no mucking around.

  4. I have heard of someone getting the 9k fine a few years ago... they made him drive from newcastle to the rta check station on the freeway to get it tested and they fined him. He was driving a very modified car
  5. I had about 300mills of oil squirt all over my extractors once and it did not catch fire. But it left the biggest cloud of smoke behind me it was not funny. Since then ive installed oil restrictors in the block and fixed the problem
  6. but what happens when the turbo gets to 100,000 rpm ? your gona have to have a clutch on it too.
  7. Then your going to have to run the turbo right up near the head light to give it direct access to the pullys and you will have to get rid of your air con and you will have too.. ummm.... Yeah... I would look at installing a supercharger to reduce lag or get a anti lag system. This idea wont work - only the electic motor thing works
  8. It wouldnt work. How would you get a belt to deal with temps as high as a turbo gets? it would melt as soon as the turbo heats up.

  10. I have air conditioning and ive got 260rwkw and with a simple tune I could get another 80rwkw with no issues. There is no way I would ever think about disconnecting my air conditioning. If the air con is in the way then I would spend more time and money to work around it. End of story. Air con is goood.
  11. Mine is about the same - I noticed you dont have your lights hooked up. I had the same problem - what i ended up doing is cutting into the light with a air saw. when you cut into the light be carefull you dont cut too much - inside the casing the light is still sealed and i was able to tape it up and fit the light in. bad thing is that the lights stoped working shortly after but the blinkers still work and it looks complete so i guess thats all good. i think the lights blew because i did not secure the light inside much - try packing it with something and taping it a bit more secure or plastic weld it up and it might work fine for you. as for the piping - mine can be seen from the front but it does not stick out the front bar so i never worried about it.
  12. Everyone should know that an autronic is a better ECU. All the power FC is a stock ECU which can be programed that allows a boost controller and allows you to use bigger injectors. I use a Power FC myself (and have no issues with it and thing they are a great ECU) but if anyone wants to swap for a autronic - PM me =) Its all about money these days and the Power FC wins when it comes to buying and installing the unit.

  14. Selling 6 x Coil Packs for series 2 R33 GTST These coil packs are working fine in my car now - selling due to upgrade All in working condition none are arcing out or breaking up on full load EDIT: Running atm at 260rwkw for last 6 months no issues at all. Asking $180
  15. That would be why.. its flowing more in the dense times... I would suggest a upgraded actuator and then a decent boost controller to fix the issue.. try one of those cheap ones they are going on about here.. the turbo tech. you would be suprised.

  17. cruise should be around 15 - 14.5 comming onto boost should be around 14 13.5 low boost can stay around 12.5 boost needs to go anywhere from 12.0 to 11.0 (Depends on tuner) The richer it is on boost the fatter the tune is - the fatter it is the safer. safer = less power. Its a trade off =) Moral to the story is dont run the car on the edge because once the fat lady sings you will know about it
  18. Is the VCT oil feed on the RB25DET head needed for cam bearing lubrication at all? or can you just do away with it and use HKS sprockets and not drill any holes or run any oil feeds?

  23. the series 1.5 came out in 95 only i believe - check your coil packs and follow the plugs that plug into them. If it plugs into a square box that has another plug connected to it going to the engine harness then its a series 1 engine. If its just pluged into a plug with no square box then its a engine wich is a mix between series 1 and series 2 Its got coils with ignitors built in and it does not have a plastic front wheel on the turbo but still has ceramic rear (same as series 1 turbo)
