  1. Nismo 740CC injectors are the go when using OEM rail set for RB25. they just bolt in.

  4. Hey Guys AVO Stage 2 Intercooler with the inlet and outlet on the same side rated at 500hp+ which has minimal lag and the pipes do NOT go across the engine. The kit sells for $1600 from AVO itself without 3" piping (only smaller piping) Comes with ALL piping you need to adapt it to turbo on stock manifold on a R33 GTST which is 3" stainless steel mandrell bent including all the silicon hoses etc etc piping is all custom made which will bolt into your R33 GTST with minimal fuss. Also includes brackets to mount it so all you gotta do is drill 2 holes and off you go! Intercooler is 280x610x100 4 INCH THICKNESS Also i will be suppling a Cold air induction kit to suit a MSPEC front bar which includes a air dam AND a stainless steel section to close off the engine bay to your pod filter which I can supply a K&N pod filter modified to go straight onto your air flow meter this made a big difference in power all you need to do is remove the grill from the front part of your bar put the scoop on and cut a hole in the air filter section (thats sectioned off for air filter only) and you get direct air flow to the filter from the front. (once fitted you can put your hand in from the front bar and reach in and touch the air filter - very cool mod) which also makes the Pod filter LEGAL because its boxed. (This is a Unique Auto Sports kit) So what you get. AVO Stage 2 Intercooler ALL Piping needed 3" mandrell bent Full R33 GTST Cold air induction kit with K&N air filter kit Bleed Valve as you can imagine this cost heaps of money to setup so please express your interest I would like to get $800 for it. Perfect for someone with a stock car that wants to get lots of power in one hit. I made 240rwkw on 9psi with this. Now im upgrading to top mount and changing the setup all together.   5. Hey bryce Told you it sounded like crap to me. Remember 50% of what people tell you when they are trying to sell you something is bullshit =) Anyway the guys here are allways keen to comment... I got a Q45 afm too so its all good now since this is all cleared up.

  8. Youve got to be kidding me right ???? What specs are you running ? 270k km and 20psi with gt3540 ??? I got my rb30det which has done about 30,000km so far with a smallish turbo now I too am going the GT3540 .82 with tial 38mm gate with a top mount manifold and 740cc injectors (still off the road) Got some questions for ya... When does boost come on ? is it laggy ??? How does it sound ? got any pics??? be very keen to find out more Do you have .82 rear ? when do you get full boost by ??? whats you fuel economy like?? tell us abit about it.. thanks
  9. i would take all the piping out and the intercooler and even the inlet manifold and clean it all as much as you can that way if there is nothing in the intake to destroy your engine if its not allready destroyed if you put a new turbo on then your home free. Last thing you want is having to put the turbo back on and it run great for 2 weeks then the engine spits it.... take the time and work out where your at first before inspecting the bank account for a rebuild.
  10. From what i hear the new ones are good but the older ones were cracking. I purchased one and we had to spend 10 hours cleaning the dags of weld from the inside so it does not destroy my GT3540. Also had to get all 3 faces machined and we welded a bracket to brace the wastegate pipe to one of the runners. Have not installed it yet
  11. We are building a 26/30 combo and need to know what pistons are needed to bring the compression ratio to 8.5:1 and 9.0:1 can someone help with this????
  12. I have an R33 and im sure my pump is doing the same thing - but then i was told that the voltage will increase as the engine loads up so there is no need in wiring the pump direct to 13v whats the advantages of doing this ? ive go a walbro 255L ph

  16. Because the next stage for mods would be Forgies / Cams / Rods and much more boost. This turbo has the .82 housing so its not the 700hp version of the GT3540 right ? wouldnt the 1.06 be the 700hp version ?
  17. Also the pump is wired using the standard wiring. Have not changed it at all. Doesnt the pump get more voltage when you get onto the gas anyway ? or do you have to directly wire it to a relay and power it directly to the battery?
  18. Sorry my mistake -- the turbo would be a 700hp unit with the 1.06 rear ? but this one has the .82 which takes it down to 550 600hp ? My mate with the 1j that sold me this turbo said he definatly would get close to 2 bar on this turbo by 4000rpm no worries with the .82 rear. does that sound right ? I got a dyno vid of his 1j doing 406rwkw on 28psi with this turbo with a stokers bottom end
  19. thats interesting you say that as ive been told that i should go a bigger turbo again because this one is too small for my car - they said i should go the 1.06 rear housing instead of the .82 rear that i have. Will look into this. What rpm will boost come on with this turbo with a 3 litre with .82 housing then ?
  20. its a 3 litre though which will bring boost on much earlier my mate had it on a 1j and he was getting full boost by 3500rpm so mine should come on sooner
  21. stock rb30e pistons from factory... So the pump is a letdown huh ? well I will see how it goes if i have to settle for 260rwkw then that pump will have to go =)
  22. so 300rwkw should be ok with the rb25 AFM then? thats all i need =)
  23. if you had a engine problem it would be blowing lots of blue / white smoke and it will smell .
  24. how long ago did you order? i paid for mine 2 weeks ago nearly and i got a email today that the order is complete and items being shipped. that was for 12 740's nismo. Did you get that email too? i cant get acces to the site ? is it down for u too?
