  2. Yep. go to the third menu and change the setting for boost controller. when you click on it, it will come up to something in japanese. just turn it to the next option and save it then the light will go off.
  3. Today my skyline clocked over 186,000 KM!!! the other day I had it dynoed at 285RWHP But today it started to run on 5 cyl.. i think one of the plugs are folwed from a bad tune. I win

  5. crap!!! r33's have no adjustment. and you WILL **** your gearbox if you dont fix it. Heavy heavy duty (clutch companys can modify the pressure plate to be stronger but then the standard nissan r33 hydrolic system cannot cope with it to disengage the clutch properly. A friend of mine made a custom adjustment for my clutch which was the ONLY way that fixed it. I could probly get him to make you one for a price. PM me if interested.

  7. I installed the PFC today and as soon as i started the engine the check engine light came on. The car goes hard as its ever gone before.. I did notice that there is no Air temp reading and no boost reading. Could this have something to do with it ? How do you find out what the problem is using the HC so it can be fixed? is there a check engine setting or something within the computer to report the error?

  10. hey fat please call me on 0412 417 579 and we can talk about the unit. I have a problem with boost moving all over the place does this unit keep the boost at a set PSI ? so does the solinoid move when it needs to to achieve the correct boost level ??? call me bout it.. Thanks

  12. took the cat out last night and checked it and it seemed ok. Still have the problem where it goes up to 12psi and drops pressure all the way down too 6psi when it reaches 7000rpm How do you check the wastegate? this is a VL T3 turbo with a 55mm front wheel stuffed into the standard housing
  13. Our cat went missing a few days ago.. Maybe he crawled up the exaust and got stuck in the converter ? lol no seriously would a stuffed cat cause boost to fluctuate heaps?
  14. My cat makes loud noises and I am starting to think its restricting the air flow because the turbo boosts upto 15psi then by about 6500rpm its only pushing 6 - 7 psi Sometimes i get no boost untill 5000rpm!!!! It does not hold boost at all.. Would a blocked cat cause this ??

  21. how is the microtech less for an R33 ?? You can get a PFC from nungen or greenline for about $1500 with hand controller. Its the same price for a microtech for me but i get a good price. they are $1800 otherwise with no h/c

  23. If you say that i should keep the Air flow meter.. but doesnt the air flow meter have a limit to how much power it can make? Wouldnt I have to upgrade to a Z32 AFM ? If so.. whats the point? stuff the AFM off and go map sensor I say.. So why keep the AFM?
  24. Hey Guys Im sure this may have been asked before.. but here goes... I am sick and tired of my standard computer. The biggest let down of my R33 skyline has been the standard computer and the fuel cut problem. Air flow meters drive me crazy and I want to get rid of it once and for all. Fuel cut defenders drive me crazy.. Sick of getting dyno read outs at 95ks an hour because it hits fuel cut rah hah rah I can get a Microtech LT12 for my R33 for $1550.00 (No hand controller) OR I can get a APEXi D Jetro PFC for $1,103.00 and $1,462.00 with HC (this version gets rid of the air flow meter so I wont have to worry about that) OR APEXi SAFC2 or similar. My mods are T3/T4 hybrid turbo (no ceramic rear wheel) Supra Front mount cold air injduction & K&N 3" HKS exaust Would a SAFC2 do the job? or should i get a APEXi D Jetro PFC and just be done with it ? I am after 225rwkw and plan on doing the RB30 upgrade within the next three months too.
