Just 2 of the cars i tuned today... pump 98 fuel... no ethanol no methanol injection... nothing.. just injectors with fuel from the pump. -
Since this forum has been around for about 8 years, a reply like this is not really funny coming from someone like yourself. The poor dude needs some direction.... Enough of the bullshit... Mate try and keep these turbos for another project and look into something more appropriate for your setup.... (or sell them) The RB25 engine has been known to handle 300rwkw but its all in the tune and the parts being used.... Some people claim 450+ kw from a stock RB25.... somtimes i think about getting one and seeing just how far it can go just for kicks and giggles but been too busy these days... Build it right and it should live at 280kw at wheels for a very long time.... BTW the mafia's comment made me LOL hard (but i am sure he meant duct tape) good luck, shoot me a pm when you get sick of bein flamed for bein a newby...... even I was one of those here once apon a time....

any info on how to get the speed signal back to the ecu from the speedo on a r33 gtst ? speedo is working but ecu is not getting a speed reading SO power steering pressure switch not working and also cannot use launch control on the VSS. might have to open it up and have a look and wire it manually to the ecu?

here is another project that we completed last year, this was for a VIP customer. The car has now been sold so I was able to take a video and put it up on youtube, this has got to be my favorite project so far, the amount of hours i spent on this car.... was worth it, feels like a NA car and it goes great! 5.6 litre quad cam v8 with a GTX42, id1000cc injectors, vipec v88 ecu. I love driving it -
i have done this back in the day.... and the car lost power... it was even a high flow version. forget it!
-
turned the boost down for now on the stock turbos.
-
my stock radiator cools better then the mspec did.

it has a rb25 box in it now -
there was this one time, when i hit the limiter, gold came out the exhaust.

looking in the engine bay today... looks like it will be quite a mission to put a big single in the Z engine bay, the twins are just about touching atm. might have to stick with twins on this car... besides 330kw at the wheels is good for a daily streeter with a stock rb30e bottom end.
-
what power did you make? with the stock turbos on a rb30, if i don't want them to fall appart how much boost should i run??? not keen to rebuild this motor from a turbo letting go.
-
seeing that it has the steel rear wheels, and a extra 50kw at the top end... should not be soo bad of an upgrade... i really do enjoy the stock r32 turbo's to be honest but i do not know how long they will last on 14psi with a rb30 spinning them up
-
I got a set of HKS 2510's for my RB30DETT, only thing is that with the stock turbo's its making 280+ rwkw, and from what i can see these turbo's wont make anymore power then this... anyone used them before? is it worth installing them? I don't get why HKS would make a set of turbo's that are not any better then the stock r32 twins? anyone have any ideas or suggestions? how much power should these 2510's make ?

check the ecu, its possible water got in and its messing with things.. take the ecu out and look at the pins, dry them with a heat gun or hair dryer

how strong is the VQ engine ? i am thinking of dropping it into GLT-00Y with the 6 speed, also how strong is the 6 speed? could it handle 400rwkw? i heard they are weak as piss and even let go easily with the na 3.5 -

I do not know, I do not do any of the fabrication / mechanical side on this conversion except advise how to build the 26/30. I will have to ask the guys who did the work, but im sure its not as hard as the twin turbo kit they are making for the 6.1 V8 Hemi, Jeep SRT8 4WD here is another pic of the car, comparing the sound to my other rb30det, with the 25 head this one sounds great! i love the sound you can really hear the cracking of those throttles, also its twin turbo compared to single on the other one. Its really a shame the diff ratio is sooo bad, I have no idea how im going to get a 4.11 in there, or at least a 3.9. I know the 370's had a 3.68 or something.... but that wont help anything. this one has 17" wheels, all the other ones i have seen had 18's.. no matter i got a set of R35 gtr copy's in 18" to put on it when i can find some tyres. also adaptronic have send me a new select ecu to put into this car, so I will do a write up on that ecu. the engine bay is really ugly atm... I wont post anything up, before i got the car he took it to another tuner and they put a set of 1FZ toyota land cruiser coils on it, and the top cover is not on the car atm. Will fix it all up in the next week or so i hope, maybe a set of lexus v8 coils might fit in there. I just realised, that on the side of the car on the shopping list on one side, there is a "HOLDEN SS" sticker on there! hahahahahaa!!! how funny is that! -

stock twins... how long so you think they will last on a rb30 at just under 1 bar? should i lower the boost a bit? -

Its been a while since ive posted in here.... I only tuned a few cars when I was back home, was not that keen to do much tuning anyway... it was my holiday... So i get back to the UAE, and get my hands on a nice car... This particular car was being built at our workshop by us for a high profile customer... just before i get back to the UAE he gets over the project and decided to sell it, he offers it to me at a good price so i round up as much cash as i can and buy it... Its a 2004 Z33 Nissan 350z, with a inhouse built RB30DETT, 26 head, tomei oil pump, hks head gasket, os twin plate clutch, full stainless exhaust, vipec plugin ecu, rb25det gearbox + more.. The car was not really finished, i spent about a day on it to get it back up to scratch, i tuned it up to about 380hp at the rear wheels and its really a dream to drive, I am loving it! I took it to the race track tonight and only managed 14.4 seconds, but the whole reason for that is because its got a 5 speed in it now, and a 3.5:1 diff, the car nearly passes the line in second gear!!! I need to find a 4.4:1 or 4.6:1 to really wake up the car. I only had 2 runs, was not too keen on pushing and destroying the car at the race track, i just want to drive it on the street. I really love the sound of this car, sounds like a really tough gtr, its got the heart of a GTR sooooo.... yeah. I got a vielside full body kit with it, and a set of HKS 2510 turbos to put on, but right now im content enough with the stock wins, they are running the car quite nice! -

Is Anyone Running Deutschwerks Injectors?
Guilt-Toy replied to Hadouken's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Yes I would prefer to sit on the fence on this one, especially seeing that I do not want to rubbish any particular brand on a public forum, its very easy to get banned on here these days.... What I was trying to do was push the subject that you cannot go wrong with getting the best injectors for your application as possible. Not something made in china, not something that sprays like a garden hose, detonation and pre-ignition and all those nasties are best to be avoided at all costs. you can use china manifolds and turbo's, they don't piss me off as much as shitty injectors and fuel system's do. maybe its personal, but after battling with countless issues that were later confirmed to be related to the injectors used on the car you kinda like to make sure its right the first time. what injectors did you end up buying ? i still think the Nismo 740's are the go! -

even after this post he is not going to change his mind. "people" need to learn the hard way. (including myself, been there done that) I just have one thing to say, the injectors should be of the highest quality as possible. great post Hyped6 -
