  1. someone must have stole his account you will lose lots of power
  2. Can you please get some pics and some info on this strapping method, on the DD dyno we have here in Georgia (Unigroup Engineerings old dyno) with my car on it i cannot stop the wheel spin at all. I am strapping it the same i did on other previous DD dynos and there was no wheel spin but now here.. its driving me crazy!!! What way was it strapped? and what ramp rate did you end up using? lol!! Sorry Mr Dirt but that made me laugh
  3. i would check with another ecu first
  4. how do you know if someone in the shop or the packagers who pack them at warehouse did not drop the plug or the box the plug is in before you buy it? you should check the gaps on them anyway.
  5. i remember these were the only ones available a few years back. it used to shit me because i allways had to gap them down. maybe they stopped making them because the .8's were selling more ? why cant you gap them ?
  6. sometimes the plugs can be damaged and burnt when this happens. no matter how much you clean them they are just never the same
  7. you can import anything and everything and drive it. all you do is pay a small tax on the car. depending how many cc the engine is on how much tax you pay. There are a few skylines here, probly around 25 or 30 i believe. I just finished dynoing my car for the drag racing tomorrow, made 475rwhp at 22psi which aint too bad i guess with the side pipe on. I was driving it to the race track to do some test runs (cant really call it a track its like a goat track with grass growing out of it and everything) i could only manage a 12.6 considering it was freezing cold and the track was very cold as well this aint too bad i guess. anyway was driving home with the side pipe on, i would have passed 20 coppers they just looked at me and did not give a shit. when i was comming home from the track one copper even pulled me over. he did not say anything about the side pipe and how loud the car was with rotary idle on.. he just checked my passport and let me go. I never imagined i could drive my car on the street with the side pipe and get away with it! if anyone has heard my car with the side pipe at power cruise this year then they would know how loud it is
  8. i had 480rwhp and only managed a 11.1 @ 131mph. but i was using chineese Just Jap G4 coil overs and a set of BFgoodrich drag radials that were bald and past the expiry date. i would think this car would run 11.7 all day long and if it had a perfect drag setup it would get to a low 11 and with gods help will it only run a 10
  9. I like this mans posts.. totally on topic and off topic at the same time
  10. will the coon block be able to handle that much power? my mate used to be into the boosted fords.. actually he still is. and he had big issues with splitting the blocks. he has split many of them good luck with it though. maybe 2 x rb25 turbo's would do you some good? can you upload some pics of your car, im interested in checking it out
  11. the scary thing is though, it looks like it would really really hurt if you fell in one, some of them are deep as! and most of the ones i have seen have had sharp objects stored in there... ie car parts or old workshop doors etc etc i asked my friend when we were at his friends workshop if anyone has ever fallen in there and he said that one of his friends fell into this pit but it was really funny because there was a few litres of paint being stored down there and he fell into the paint and got really messy lol
  12. You are a expert dyno operator who knows what he is talking about.
  13. www.hunterdyno.com.au this guy knows the wolf v500's back to front.
  14. what was the ramp rate you are using on the dyno? how have you got the car strapped down? try and add another strap through the car as well? my RB30DET can have issues and will climb out of the dyno if not strapped down correctly. once i fixed it and worked out the best way to strap it down there was no issues. the max i was getting was 380rwkw without any issues at all. what brand dyno are you using? where exactly are the straps ? do you have the front of the strap on the front of the dyno ? or do you have it going around the lower control arm and then hooked onto the rear bar?
  15. needed some new brake pads today. mine were so far gone that they were rubbing on metal to metal. will take 2 weeks to order some online. No problems. lets get some made locally. I turn up to this place and get a price, 80 Georgian Lari to get all 4 brake pads replaced and I can choose how hard / soft i wanted them. I decided to go with a not too soft set because the soft ones cause a bit of brake dust that i have seen on the last car Guricha got done there. i drop the car off and go away for 2 hours and went off to a really nice The land of goat sphincter rings kebab joint and had a mad feed, come back and he is still doing the rear ones so i decided to get some pics to show you guys. Basically the guy gets the old pads and removes all the pad from it then he replaces it with new pads. he pre-mix's the stuff and bakes it on there with that machine that looks like a big press. then he grinds the excess pad away to suit the car that he is putting the pad in. I have had many different types of brake pads on my car and none of them have had the stopping power as good as these have. 80 georgian lari is about $55 aud and he guy took the wheels off and removed the old pads for me as well so it was a drive in drive out service. Things happen a different way here. They cannot buy parts and get them in a hurry so why not make it yourself ? This aint the only thing we have gotten made here. will post up some others once we have finished testing I added a pic of the hole under my car - much cheaper then buying a hoist I guess
  16. also you must use good quality oil
  17. which wolf do you have ? what version?
  18. if your battery is in the boot, how do you do the miltimeter test? i have never seen one with wires that long?
  19. Make sure the wideband device you purchase is a good one, and has 0-5v afr output so we can connect it to Datalogit. the price is about $350 usd to tune this car. if you fly me to your country I can bring everything with me. the datalogit and the wideband sensor needed to tune your car. I am in Georgia in Eastern Europe so it will not cost too much to fly you there. Maybe you can find other cars that need tuning as well and we can work something out. I normally charge $300 - $500 usd for a tune. Remote or not.
  20. You also need a decent wideband afr meter. you can get a good one from www.techedge.com.au I visit the site often but do not post much anymore. send me a PM if you are interested or add me to msn, [email protected] or anthonye1978 on skype. Also if you have a few jap cars that need tuning with pfc or similar i may be able to fly to your country for a few days to tune them. I am in Georgia now in Eastern Europe so it wont be too expensive to fly there i wouldn't think ? cheers
  21. have a look at my remote power fc tuning thread, PM me if you need assistance, can do the same for you if you like. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tu...ng+over+the+sea
  22. it is not tuned properly. they can be fiddly to get going and setup right.
  23. there is a water temp timing trim option in the power fc yes. what it is set at I cannot tell you as it can be changed with dataglogit.
  24. There seems to be a trend by the local police here... Every time they see me they pull me over. They have a loud speaker and they say stuff that i cannot understand.. For me when i hear that in the background it means pull over. Yesterday i ignored the request and just kept driving normally, then the police car dropped back for 10 seconds then come flying at a great speed behind me and he was yelling in the loud speaking "bla bla blaaaa blaaaa blaaaahhhhhhh" the dude sounded really angry. So i pulled over, gave him my passport and nsw drivers licence then he says "one minute" and goes back to the police car. I was looking in my rear view mirror and as he got in the car the copper has this MASSIVE grin on his face while handing my passport and licence to the other copper in the car.... then he comes back gives me my stuff back and tells me to go.. so i say "martlooba" which means thanks in Georgian and drive off. Later on i talk to my friend Niko who is a crazy mofo who runs around with his hand gun all the time, apparently he is part of the secret service or something like that... Ministry of defence i think.. he is the police for the police... He tells me that all the cops know that i am driving around and that they all want to meet me so they are pulling me over for fun!!! I have nothing to worry about though! all i have to do is ring him if there any problems and he will will sort them out. Its been a experience here thats for sure... I have to say that Guricha and his friends have been like family for me which has made things really easy... I will upload more pics soon. Here is a pic i took from my Balcony today, (7 hours ago or so), My skyline and my mates R34 GTT.
