  1. ask trent at status tuning?
  2. Well done Paul. Fingers crossed you can pump out a 8. pweeeasssseee =)
  3. what a nice car! why dont you take the car with you overseas? i did. chances are the car is worth much more where you are going!
  4. spewing about the defects. now you have no car to drive. that sucks. your car is wayyy tooo modified to be a street car, probly best it stays off the road anyway
  5. i ran 11.1 @ 131mph. car was epa legal & fully engineered. I am not aware of any cars that were fast and road legal at the same time. I guess the new 35 gtrs are legal and fast.
  6. go back to the old one. the engine should not be running that cold.
  7. We are now trying to source ethanol in the sphincter of the universe & Georgia in Eastern Europe. I have a rally car in Georgia who wants to run the stuff and the drifters in the sphincter of the universe are keen also. Will keep you guys updated Looks like it will only be available in 100%. so it will be e100 so I will be able to mix it with 98 octane depending on the car / combo.
  8. you wont able to run that turbo with the stock ecu.
  9. I had this issue on my car. after alot of f**king around I worked out that my marks on the harmonic balancer is... -5 0 5 10 15 20 It is a RB25 balancer. from which RB25 i am not sure because i got it from wrecker. Maybe the RB25 balancers are different to the R33 R34's in the markings. As long as the thing is timed correctly on the pulleys then you will be fine, just set the timing with the balancer on 0 in your case.
  10. hahahhahahahhaaa!! I saw this topic and I had to clicky and post my opinion. I do not think there is anything else I need to say on this topic after this post.
  11. More boost is better. You guys are a big inspiration for all of us.
  12. you need to check the crank, where the crank collar is put on is the collar flush with the crank? this cost me a crank and it had to be replaced. was it machined flush ? if not then it will need to be done.
  13. BANG. yes i can tell the future.
  14. fc tune requires a datalogit adaptor to work though ?
  15. wow, they must do things different over there, the brake is only needed at the end of the race. i am glad everyone was ok.
  16. look at getting a set of forged rods, much better then stock treated ones
  17. i have a question. What if the compression tester he is using is 20 or 30psi out ? maybe its old or reads low? the engine has the same compression across the whole board so the engine should still be in workable condition, especially if the compression tester is out. my opinion would be to install a decent oil catch can setup and take the turbo off and get it checked then see how you go with it.

    not needed no more
  19. Competition would have been the better choice, maybe if you are running 600kw at 4 wheels you would use lemans.
  20. Why did you buy Lemans for ? its a rb30 yeah ? and not reving past 7500 8000 ? what a waste of money. you could have just gotten competition and given me the rest of the money you saved instead =)
  21. ohhh crap sorry I missed his. No I aint going to Melbourne. you should call Trent @ Status and he will be able to check it out for you.
  22. SEARCH!!! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Kn...ml&hl=knock all explained here.
  23. Yes the Vipec is a very decent ecu. You should go with it. However your tuner should also be able to tune a Nistune. The vipec cannot be compared to the Nistune because they are totally difference ecu's. You can compare a power fc and a nistune like you can compare a Vipec & Motec. They are totally different. one does the job and works okay, the other does the job and can make you breakfast. If you go down the vipec route, you can pull out your ebc and use the vipec to control boost for just a added $130 part so you can get the vipec for a bit cheaper and have decent boost control as well.
  24. people still think that E85 is the ticket to more safe power. This is not the case! you are still limited to the engines internals. it is easier and safer to make the power but if you are using standard internals or have a weak engine it will still break.
  25. oh gay! so whoever enters their 35 will win.
